They're closing in on a clean sheet that would send their side to Wembley.

Bolton are going to have to chuck caution to the wind now. Better to go out with your sword in your hand than your shield.

He went to ground very theatrically and handled it as well. You've got to be 100% with those.

Ricardo Santos is booked for bringing down Barnsley substitute James Norwood.

From the replay, I think Conor Bradley had more contact but referee Michael Salisbury disagrees.

The indirect free-kick was a strange situation. You don't want to give the opposition an opportunity like that when you're controlling the game.

There was a bit of a lull in the crowd here, so it's not like Harry Isted couldn't hear his team-mates. It's a bit of a let-off for Barnsley that Bolton didn't score.

Declan John and George Johnston combine in Barnsley's final third before the latter whips a ball into the box.

It sails past the face of goal and no-one can get on the end of it.

Sort of sums up Bolton's night, really.

Bolton have never won an away game in the play-offs.

In fact they've not featured in the play-offs since 2001.

Even when Bolton do have time on the ball and can pick different options, they feel rushed and they're making bad decisions.

That's a consequence of how Barnsley have played all evening.

Less than 20 minutes remaining.

Bolton, for all their positivity since returning for the second half, have nothing to show for their efforts.

Barnsley have offered little, other than Adam Phillips' strike, either.

This is still in the balance.

That was a great effort from Adam Phillips. The first touch was magnificent and the goalkeeper had no chance.

I don't disagree with the substitutions. Elias Kachunga is going in the hole as a number 10. Bolton have changed to a 3-4-1-2 formation, which is a very positive move from a manager who's got 20-to-25 minutes of the season left unless Wanderers score.

It's not a time for pretty football; it's a time for winners to step up to the plate. I'd be hitting the frontman as quickly as I can.

These players could be heroes in Bolton.
