Sheffield Wednesday probe Barnsley's defence from left and right, before Barry Bannan tries to go for glory from distance.

His curled effort it harmless, however.

Just the one minute of added time at the end of normal time to come.

There are just 60 seconds for one of these sides to get it won and done before we go to extra time.

Both sets of supporters are urging their sides on.

We are edging ever closer to another 30 minutes of energy-sapping play-off final football at Wembley, it seems.

Will there be late drama, or will it be extra time?

Ex-Sheff Wed manager on BBC Radio Sheffield

Whilst Barnsley have got three at the back, we've got a flat three of strikers.

None of them are getting in the game. Maybe Windass needs to drop in the hole to try and get him on it because he could be that spare man.

Nicky Cadden runs to the byline, then drills a low ball across the face of goal, but there isn't a Barnsley team-mate to meet it.

He appeared to be looking for a corner. Instead it will be another long throw from the Tykes.

Into the final five minutes of normal time, now.

James Norwood wins a free kick in the middle of the pitch for Barnsley.

The Tykes are not letting up and will want to snatch a dramatic late winner rather than face extra time while a man down.

You: Have all three EFL play-off finals in a season ever all gone to extra time?

Me: No, no they have not.

Unless something big happens in the closing minutes we are going to witness (a very small slice of) history here today.

Oh, and the National League promotion final also went to extra-time and penalties...

    David Preece
Former Barnsley keeper on BBC Radio Sheffield

Barnsley have not got many options because they're outnumbered.

They've got to get it round the side - if we can't get through them get round the side, get corners, get throw-ins and test them from there.

How are you feeling as we enter the final 10 minutes? Here's what some of you have told us on social media using #bbcefl:

Simon Atkins: Wednesday expended a lot of effort and energy coming back against Peterborough. It might be that, even against 10 men, they don't have the energy to overcome it.

Daniel Woodley: After those two horrendous decisions we're all Barnsley now right?

Chelsea Man: Barnsley to nick this 1-0 right at the death. Can’t see Wednesday breaking through at the moment - they’re getting more and more frustrated by the red wall.

Here's the issue, Sheffield Wednesday have got all of the forward players in the squad on the pitch right now.

We're at a stage where they need to inject some pace into this at the top end. They don't really have that option.

Barnsley have defended manfully against Wednesday's direct balls forward and if that is all the Owls have to offer then it's difficult to see them making the breakthrough.

  15. GREAT SAVE!published at 80 mins

    Barnsley 0-0 Sheff Wed

Cameron Dawson makes an outstanding save to keep James Norwood out.

Norwood had plenty to do just to get a shot off, and it is a cracker that has Dawson diving to palm it away.

Sheffield Wednesday with a change now.

Space opens up for Sheffield Wednesday after Liam Palmer wins the ball from James Norwood deep in defence.

The Owls switch the play and are on the attack.

It goes all the way to the other end and Josh Windass has a crack from distance, but his effort is blocked.

Late in the second period, still goalless.

The nerves are growing among both sets of supporters, the nails are being bitten.

One moment of magic or one error could settle this now.
