The Tykes will feel rattled by that decision.

I have to say, on first viewing I thought that was a very poor challenge from Adam Phillips.
I don't know if he maybe lost his balance a little because it was, to be generous, unusual.
The Barnsley fans sat near the press area are stunned.
Wednesday's end has erupted.
How pivotal will that be?
Barnsley 0-0 Sheff Wed
The check is over and the red card stands.
The referee points Adam Phillips down the tunnel.
Barnsley 0-0 Sheff Wed
It's a red card for Adam Phillips!
He certainly gets his timing all wrong and comes over the top of the ball. The video assistant referee will have a look at this...

Sheffield Wednesday players and fans are not happy about a challenge from Adam Phillips on Lee Gregory.

I'm very surprised by that because we've seen in the Premier League penalties given for much lesser reasons than that.
Barnsley 0-0 Sheff Wed
A long throw into the box causes a little panic in defence for Sheffield Wednesday.
An attempted clearance from Lee Gregory catches Liam Kitching.
The video assistant referee has a good look, but no penalty is given.

I think Wednesday had two of the best chances in terms of Bannan's volley and Iorfa's opportunity as well going to the keeper.
It's about taking those opportunities when they come. At the moment they're half-chances but in tight games like this you've got to take those half-chances as that's where you could win the game
Wednesday have had a couple of opportunities towards the goal but not enough to cause the keeper an issue.
Other than that I don't think we are off the script here by saying we're expecting something different. We're getting what we expected.
HT: Barnsley 0-0 Sheff Wed
Both these sides have enjoyed play-off success over the years.
After the way the Championship and League Two deciders went over the weekend, it is worth also saying that they have each done it the hard way as well.
Sheffield Wednesday needed extra time to seal promotion from League One in 2005, while it took a penalty shootout against Swansea a year later for Barnsley to reach the Championship.

So, for the first time this weekend a half of play-off football has passed without a goal.
What impact will today's conditions have on the game as it goes on?
Across the course of the season Sheffield Wednesday's starting XI was the oldest in the division, while Barnsley's was the third youngest.
With age comes experience obviously, but with seven of the Owls' outfielders aged 30 or more, could fatigue prove pivotal?

It's not just been a game of few chances, it's been a game of few half-chances.
It's as close a game as we thought it was going to be. Unless something changes with an error or a strike out of nothing, we're going to see the same in the second half.
Barnsley 0-0 Sheff Wed
The corner is easily dealt with and it proves to be the final act of the first half.
It remains all square at Wembley.
Barnsley 0-0 Sheff Wed
A chance almost presents itself for Slobodan Tedic in the area.
A great ball from Adam Phillips finds Tedic, but Barry Bannan thumps it behind for a corner.
Barnsley 0-0 Sheff Wed
Jordan Williams is back and crucially on Lee Gregory's arm as he tries to flash a header on target.
A goal kick is the result, but replays show that Williams got a crucial touch to ensure the Owls didn't make Barnsley goalkeeper Harry Isted work.
Barnsley 0-0 Sheff Wed
The ball comes in from the left and Bobby Thomas sends it off target.
