Both gaffers will be grateful for this drinks break.

Barnsley have been super since being reduced to 10 men when Adam Phillips was sent off but can they keep it up for another 23, possibly 53, minutes?

As ex-Wednesday boss Brian Laws has said on BBC Radio Sheffield, the Owls have not made anything like enough of their man advantage so far.

They have to find a way to make it count.

The sending-off has re-energised Barnsley and galvanised them and made them a more dangerous force because they're more unpredictable.

The opposition has got to find a way to utilise that extra man and I think Wednesday have struggled with that so far.

Another drinks break is called and Barnsley head coach Michael Duff is busy barking instructions.

He has had plenty to change since Adam Phillips was shown a straight red card early in the second half.

Sheffield Wednesday unite in one thunderous voice of encouragement as Dominic Iorfa has a cross blocked.

The Owls are trying to work the extra space they have now.

Josh Windass finds some of it, but drags a shot wide from outside the area.

Sheffield Wednesday are not using that extra man they've got, they're still staying in that same mode of play.

Wednesday have just got to try to get those passes together and make the Barnsley players run around a wee bit.

Here's what some people using #bbcefl think of that red card for Adam Phillips:

James Hammond: Barnsley absolutely screwed by VAR twice in 5 minutes, awful officiating.

Dan Tracey: If it's not a penalty for Barnsley minutes before, I'm not sure how they are now down to 10 men.

Chris: I don't think for a second Phillips meant to do that, but that doesn't get any prettier with every replay they show.

Gerry Wright: Def red, so late, so dangerous.

The game has absolutely opened up. The sending-off, instead of decelerating, has accelerated it wide open.

It's gone from end to end.

Barnsley at this moment don't even look like they've got a player down.

Now it is Harry Isted who has to be alert in Barnsley's goal.

A low cross into the box is deflected goalward by a defender and Isted gets low to make the save.

The keeper then jumps on the ball before Michael Smith can latch onto the rebound.

    WOW.

Where was this in the first 45 minutes?!

Barnsley might be a man down but they are in the ascendancy now.

They know their best chance to win this now is almost certainly going to be in the 90.

    Oh so close from Barnsley.

Sheffield Wednesday are not able to properly clear the danger from a long throw and a long-range effort clatters the crossbar.

The initial shot comes from Nicky Cadden but Liam Kitching directs his header onto the bar.

It's wild, it looks reckless and I don't think he's given the referee much option.
