It's now anybody's guess as to what happens - the lottery of a penalty shootout.

The game has been nervy enough but we've seen how the nerves of the occasion has affected the performance levels.

This is what no player really wants. Somebody is going to be a hero, somebody is going to be a villain.

Notts County are ALIVE once more!

The cross comes in and Ruben Rodrigues is there on the penalty spot and swings a leg at it and thumps the ball into the ground and it loops over the keeper and into the net.

Chesterfield are in the driving seat. They've been the better team and had all the balls into the box.

Notts have had one decent chance in extra time from Macaulay Langstaff but he couldn't take it. You'd expect him to do better and find the target.

They are pressing against an increasingly tiring Chesterfield team but can't find the breakthrough.

Notts County are working so hard around the Chesterfield area.

Crosses are flying in high but long.

They look better with the ball on the ground trying to work the space.

Substitute Cedwyn Scott feeds Connell Rawlinson who shoots from the edge of the box but wide.

There are some tired legs out there.

Macaulay Langstaff is getting a little more service now but he's not quite able to get the power on the shots that he needs.
