If we (Man Utd) had Mitrovic, Kane, and Osimhen as our front three, it'd be a great start to next season.

    Fulham 2-1 Crystal Palace

Palace haven't really showed up in the second half but they do have a free-kick in a dangerous area - Ebe Eze's ball in is decent but Fulham stay strong.

  3. 'Time running out for Everton'published at 16:35 British Summer Time 20 May 2023

    Wolves 1-0 Everton

Everton have just started to crunch into a few tackles again like they did at the start of the first half.

They're just trying to spark a bit of momentum.

Time is running out quickly for them now.

  4. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 16:35 British Summer Time 20 May 2023

    Wolves 1-0 Everton

Hwang Hee-chan is suffering with cramp so he is replaced by Mario Lemina for the closing stages.

Everton need to find something because should Leeds get a point against West Ham tomorrow then the Toffees will start the final day of the season in the relegation zone.

  5. Postpublished at 16:35 British Summer Time 20 May 2023

    Liverpool 0-1 Aston Villa

This is unfolding exactly as Unai Emery would have hoped.

Liverpool and the home support are getting increasingly frustrated with the visitors' tactics in this second half. Ashley Young goes down and play is halted to allow him to receive treatment.

These substitutions should give the home crowd a bit of a lift, though...

  6. Postpublished at 16:35 British Summer Time 20 May 2023

    Bournemouth 0-1 Man Utd

Just about 15 minutes left. Manchester United are closing in on Champions League football - result at Anfield dependent.

  7. GREAT SAVE!published at 16:33 British Summer Time 20 May 2023

    Bournemouth 0-1 Man Utd

That would have been a great goal! Paul Scholes-esque as a corner comes out to the edge of the area, Bruno Fernandes is all alone to run onto it and goes for a big side-footed slap of a volley that's heading in until Neto paws it away. A fine save by the Bournemouth keeper.

  8. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 16:32 British Summer Time 20 May 2023

    Wolves 1-0 Everton

Wolves make a double change as Daniel Podence and Pablo Sarabia are replaced by Diego Costa and Matheus Nunes.

    Twenty minutes to go.

    Liverpool 0-1 Aston Villa

Very stop-start at Anfield, just how Villa want it to be.

They've got a threat on the counter if they can just get one pass right towards Ollie Watkins.

  10. YELLOW CARDpublished at 16:31 British Summer Time 20 May 2023

    Liverpool 0-1 Aston Villa

Trent Alexander-Arnold gets a yellow card after fouling Jacob Ramsey and then booting the ball away in frustration.

The home crowd then let Emiliano Martinez know what they think of his tactics as he holds onto the ball for a little while longer than necessary.

  11. Team news - Forest unchanged, two changes for Arsenalpublished at 16:31 British Summer Time 20 May 2023

Nottingham Forest v Arsenal (17:30 BST)

Steve Cooper names the same XI that started Nottingham Forest's 2-2 draw at Chelsea last weekend.

Victory would put Forest six points clear of the drop zone and on the brink of safety.

Nottingham Forest XI: Navas; Worrall, Felipe, Niakhate; Aurier, Mangala, Yates, Lodi, Gibbs-White, Danilo, Awoniyi.

Subs: Henessey, Toffolo, Surridge, Johnson, Kouyate, Freuler, Dennis, Boly, Ayew.

Mikel Arteta makes two changes to the Arsenal side beaten 3-0 by Brighton last time out.

Gabriel Martinelli is out for the season with an ankle injury, Leandro Trossard comes in for him.

The other change sees Thomas Partey return in place of Kieran Tierney as the Gunners look for a win to extend the title race for another day at least.

Arsenal XI: Ramsdale, White, Kiwior, Gabriel, Xhaka, Jorginho, Partey, Odegaard, Saka, Trossard, Jesus.

Subs: Turner, Tierney, Smith Rowe, Nketiah, Holding, Vieira, Bandeira, Cozier-Duberry, Walters

  12. 'Mitrovic leads the line so well'published at 16:30 British Summer Time 20 May 2023

    Fulham 2-1 Crystal Palace

Mitrovic's penalty was good but with this one he has used his experience and got on the end of Willian's free kick and powers it in.

He has been a great player for Fulham this season and he just leads the line so well.

  13. CLOSE!published at 16:30 British Summer Time 20 May 2023

    Wolves 1-0 Everton

Cracking effort by Demarai Gray as he cuts inside and thumps a shot from the edge of the box that is heading into the far corner but Dan Bentley manages to push away.

That's probably been Everton's best chance.

  14. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 16:29 British Summer Time 20 May 2023

    Bournemouth 0-1 Man Utd

The vocal travelling fans are very happy about this as Alejandro Garnacho comes on in place of Jadon Sancho.

  15. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 16:29 British Summer Time 20 May 2023

    Liverpool 0-1 Aston Villa

Alex Moreno is being helped off the pitch here, clearly in some discomfort. He looks like a man who could've really done with a stretcher being provided.

That's his afternoon over in 10 minutes.

    On comes Emiliano Buendia.

It appears as though John McGinn is going to play at left-back, tasked with keeping Mo Salah quiet for the final 25 minutes.

  16. GREAT SAVE!published at 16:29 British Summer Time 20 May 2023

    Fulham 2-1 Crystal Palace

Willian! He's inches away from an absolute pearler but Sam Johnstone denies him with a peach of a save. Fulham are purring now.

  17. Postpublished at 16:27 British Summer Time 20 May 2023

    Wolves 1-0 Everton

Rúben Neves becomes the fourth Wolves player booked as he commits a foul just outside the box and Everton have a free kick but it comes to nothing.

  18. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 16:27 British Summer Time 20 May 2023

    Liverpool 0-1 Aston Villa

Superb defending by the substitute Alex Moreno, who puts his body on the line to head clear just as Virgil van Dijk was setting himself for an equaliser at the back post.

It has come at a cost though. Moreno, who came on for Lucas Digne at left-back, is down and in pain.

In the meantime, Liverpool send on Diogo Jota for Curtis Jones.

  19. 'Excellent attitude and application from Wolves'published at 16:26 British Summer Time 20 May 2023

    Wolves 1-0 Everton

    Paul Robinson
Former Leeds goalkeeper on BBC Radio 5 Live

Wolves' attitude and commitment today has been excellent today.

We questioned before the game how dedicated they would be given that for them there is nothing to play for. The manager made six changes to the side as well.

But you cannot question the attitude and application that we have seen on the pitch - they've approached it in the right way and are keen to pick up another victory.

  20. Postpublished at 16:25 British Summer Time 20 May 2023

    Fulham 2-1 Crystal Palace

    Alex Howell
    Football reporter at Craven Cottage

That looked too easy for Mitrovic. A free header close to goal and he’s not going to miss those. Fulham deservedly lead on the balance of play.
