  1. 'Pattern of game turned completely'published at 15:44 British Summer Time 20 May 2023

    Wolves 1-0 Everton

    Paul Robinson
Former Leeds goalkeeper on BBC Radio 5 Live

There's been a real change in pattern in this game.

Everton dominated the first 20-25 minutes, Wolves growing into it and Adama Traore playing a huge part in that.

Everton have been getting deeper and deeper.

    Wolves 1-0 Everton

A disappointing free kick by James Garner as he smashes it well over the bar from a decent position.

Here's how it looks at the bottom of the table and this scoreline will delight Leicester, Leeds and Nottingham Forest fans.

    Liverpool 0-1 Aston Villa

Lucas Digne is down inside his own penalty area and playing every Liverpool player onside as Luis Diaz charges down the left.

Digne eventually gets to his feet with Liverpool pressing on in search of an equaliser, and is greeted by boos from the home fans.

    Bournemouth 0-1 Man Utd

Casemiro has another shot on goal comfortably saved. His strike has Manchester United ahead, and Villa's lead at Anfield means a top-four finish as it stands:

    Liverpool 0-1 Aston Villa

The frustration grows for Liverpool. Jordan Henderson is rightly penalised for a foul on John McGinn as Villa threaten on the break.

Fabinho then concedes a free-kick for bringing down Leon Bailey, and McGinn is keen to point out to referee John Brooks that the Brazilian has already got away with a few of those without any punishment.

From the free-kick, Alisson is forced into a good stop to deny Jacob Ramsey following a really intelligent dart by the Villa midfielder towards the near post.

  6. 'Relegation pressure like no other'published at 15:39 British Summer Time 20 May 2023

    Wolves 1-0 Everton

    Paul Robinson
Former Leeds goalkeeper on BBC Radio 5 Live

It's horrible. You get nerves before games, you get that feeling in your stomach.

You know what's at stake, it's not just about you, it’s about your families and friends, employees and club staff. There’s people who have worked at the club for years and years, and their jobs are on your shoulders.

You feel the weight of expectation and pressure of what you are carrying, for the fans especially.

  7. 'Traore is too big and powerful'published at 15:39 British Summer Time 20 May 2023

    Wolves 1-0 Everton

    Rachel Brown-Finnis
    Ex-England goalkeeper on Final Score

It's a misplaced pass and Adama Traore gets the ball. They had two chances to get behind play, Amadou Onana and Idrissa Gueye and they don't bring him down.

He gets a strong shot off, I don't think Pickford could have done any better but he just palms it out to Hwang Hee-chan who taps into an empty net.

Traore is too big and too powerful so just foul him.

  8. Postpublished at 15:38 British Summer Time 20 May 2023

    Wolves 1-0 Everton

Everton cannot handle Adama Traore as he drives past Yerry Mina to get into the box rom the left but James Tarkowski gets across to block his shot just in time.

  9. Postpublished at 15:37 British Summer Time 20 May 2023

    Wolves 1-0 Everton

Suddenly Everton are all over the shop as they give the ball away in a dangerous area and João Gomes surges into the box but his shot is pushed away by Jordan Pickford.

Wolves hadn't created anything before scoring but now look capable of adding to their lead with every attack.

    Fulham 0-1 Crystal Palace

    Alex Howell
    Football reporter at Craven Cottage

That was an excellent counter attack by Palace at speed. It’s their first real chance of the match and they’ve taken it.

  11. 'How quick Traore, wow!'published at 15:36 British Summer Time 20 May 2023

    Wolves 1-0 Everton

    Paul Robinson
Former Leeds goalkeeper on BBC Radio 5 Live

    Absolutely brilliant from Adama Traore.

Everton were in comfortable possession and then when Traore picks up the ball he runs the length of the field, leaves six or seven Everton players in his wake on his way to the attacking third.

No one laid a glove on him, Traore how quick, wow!

There's nothing Pickford can do, and Hwang has the easiest of tasks to put his side ahead.

  12. A Golden win for De Geapublished at 15:35 British Summer Time 20 May 2023

    Liverpool 0-1 Aston Villa

    Shamoon Hafez
    BBC Sport at Anfield

Aston Villa's goal is double good news for Manchester United.

Should things stay as they are, they will finish in the top four and qualify for next season's Champions League.

And Alisson conceding means David de Gea is now assured of the Golden Glove award.

Quite remarkable having lost 7-0 here, 6-3 against Manchester City and 4-0 to Brentford early on the season.

THAT is how you counter-attack! Fulham have a corner and Palace have the ball in the back of the net within aboutr four touches. The irrepressible Eberechi Eze carries the ball and finds Odsonne Edouard streaking through the middle, the former Celtic man takes his time before battering home left-footed inside the near post.

Another thing of beauty from Roy Hodgson's side.

  14. Postpublished at 15:34 British Summer Time 20 May 2023

    Liverpool 0-1 Aston Villa

Liverpool have responded to that setback with a decent spell of possession of their own, but the final pass has been lacking for the hosts. Trent Alexander-Arnold attempts a ball into the box but Emiliano Martinez is unopposed in catching it.

There's a problem for Leon Bailey now, who gets a knock in the back as he challenges for a header.

  15. goal

    Hwang Hee-chan (34 mins)

    The hosts open the scoring!

Everton have had a host of chances but just not made them count and they are punished as, from a Toffees attack, Wolves counter as Adama Traore races almost the length of the pitch before his low shot is pushed away by Jordan Pickford but Hwang Hee-chan is there to fire into the back of the net.

    Disaster for relegation-threatened Everton.

United need to wake up here (yet again). As usual, they've got themselves a lead and have gone into cruise-control. Don't they ever learn? The Champions League won't be happening if they continue at this slow pace.

  17. 'A shame for Everton to see Patterson go off'published at 15:32 British Summer Time 20 May 2023

    Wolves 0-0 Everton

    Paul Robinson
Former Leeds goalkeeper on BBC Radio 5 Live

Patterson has been really good going forward and overlapping around the outside of Garner.

He's put a couple of good balls in the box and his combinations with Onana has been excellent. He's been a real bright spark.

With Michael Keane coming on, a centre half, if he goes out to right back then he obviously won't be as offensively strong as Patterson.

  18. Postpublished at 15:32 British Summer Time 20 May 2023

    Bournemouth 0-1 Man Utd

There's been no notable reaction from the away end to that Villa goal at Anfield just yet...

David Brooks weaves some magic at the other end and fires in a shot which is well cleared, but Bournemouth do have a free-kick in a dangerous spot.

  19. 'Ramsey should be pleased with himself'published at 15:32 British Summer Time 20 May 2023

    Liverpool 0-1 Aston Villa

    Ashley Williams
Former Wales captain on Final Score

Jacob Ramsey has had a good season, he should be pleased with himself. He is another one who is looking comfortable and confident under Unai Emery.

It's a clever finish because it has come past two players and he has to react quickly at the back stick and he just guides it in to the far post. Clever finish.

  20. Postpublished at 15:31 British Summer Time 20 May 2023

    Liverpool 0-1 Aston Villa

That Aston Villa goal means that, as it stands, Newcastle will be assured of a Champions League place before they kick a ball this weekend.

It's also great news for fourth-placed Manchester United, who are on course to go four points clear of Liverpool, who would have three available to them after today.

Villa, well, they're up to sixth - five points behind Liverpool.
