With 17 clean sheets, David de Gea has won the Golden Glove for the second time, previously doing so in 2017-18. He's the second Manchester United keeper to keep the most clean sheets across a single Premier League campaign more than once, after Peter Schmeichel (1994-95, 1995-96 and 1997-98).

  2. 'We had to dig deep'published at 17:18 British Summer Time 20 May 2023

    FT: Liverpool 1-1 Aston Villa

    Aston Villa

Aston Villa goalscorer Jacob Ramsey speaking to the Premier League: "Before the game, with their form, we would probably have taken a point. But we were 1-0 up for so long and we had chances to kill the game. But a point at Anfield is really good.

"We're disappointed not to get the three points. When you come to places like this, the first 15 and last 20 we were definitely under [pressure]. But if you're going to come to these places and get a result, you have to dig deep and we did that.

"I think if we are going to get a European place we want it to be in our hands. It's going to be a big, tough game against Brighton who are also fighting for a position."

  3. 'I'm thankful for the last six seasons'published at 17:17 British Summer Time 20 May 2023

    FT: Wolves 1-1 Everton

    Wolves

Wolves midfielder Ruben Neves: "We wanted to win the game. We knew they would take risks – they’re fighting for their Premier League lives. The only thing I can say is the nine minutes [of stoppage time]. I asked the ref why. He said they’ve been asked to play exact times. I don’t know why they haven’t been doing it all season. If you want to do it, you need to do it all season and not only in the last two games.

"We’ve had some games here where they [only] gave four or five minutes. They said we’re the Premier League, not the World Cup. Now they are trying to be the World Cup."

On his Wolves future: "I want to be here, but I never hide that I want to play Champions League football. It’s a hard decision. Me and my family love it here, but in football you have to go for your main goals.

"Nothing’s happened yet. If it was my last game here I really enjoyed it and I’m very thankful for the last six seasons."

  4. Lingard misses out with 'minor knock'published at 17:16 British Summer Time 20 May 2023

Nottm Forest v Arsenal (17:30 BST)

    Simon Stone
BBC Sport at the City Ground

I had almost forgotten Jesse Lingard joined Nottingham Forest in the summer.

The 30-year-old has made one substitute appearance since his last start, against Tottenham in March.

He misses out today with a slight knock.

  5. Top-four boundpublished at 17:15 British Summer Time 20 May 2023

    FT: Bournemouth 0-1 Man Utd

Casemiro's goal and Liveprool failing to beat Aston Villa means Newcastle and Manchester United are all but there.

  6. A huge goal...published at 17:14 British Summer Time 20 May 2023

    FT: Wolves 1-1 Everton

Here's what that point means at the bottom of the table. Only a win for Leeds against West Ham tomorrow will now see Everton drop into the relegation zone before the final day.

  7. 'That's what this stage of the season is all about!'published at 17:14 British Summer Time 20 May 2023

    Jermaine Jenas
Former England midfielder on Radio 5 Live

We're at that stage of the season aren't we? Everyone is either desperate for survival or top four or trophies.

You could feel that in the games that we have seen today, and listening to the commentary of that last-minute goal for Everton - it's what the end of the season is all about!

  8. What an incentive for Forestpublished at 17:11 British Summer Time 20 May 2023

Nottm Forest v Arsenal (17:30 BST)

    Simon Stone
BBC Sport at the City Ground

The result from Wolves means if Nottingham Forest win this evening, they will be safe with a game to spare.

What more incentive could Steve Cooper's men need?

Commentators saying a point could keep Everton up don’t go mad over that as if Leeds win at West Ham that’ll count for nothing as Everton will fall into bottom three for the final game which could be disastrous for them still!

  10. 'I don't care what happens in Liverpool'published at 17:09 British Summer Time 20 May 2023

    FT: Bournemouth 0-1 Man Utd

    Manchester United

Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag to Match of the Day: "The only criticism is we didn't kill off the game, we had to produce that second goal but that's the way this team are. It is not easy scoring goals.

"It was a great goal from Casemiro. We pinned them back, didn't let them breathe in the first 25 minutes.

"David de Gea made a mistake a few weeks ago but everyone can make mistakes. We defend with 11, that's why we have so many clean sheets. David made some great saves.

"I don't care what happens in Liverpool, it's about us. We have to do the job."

  11. Postpublished at 17:07 British Summer Time 20 May 2023

    Liverpool 1-1 Aston Villa

That Liverpool point means Manchester United and Newcastle United both just need one point from their remaining two games to be certain of a top four place.

Aston Villa will go into their final game against Brighton in seventh, one point above Tottenham in the race for European football. They are level on points with sixth-placed Brighton, who have two games in hand.

  12. 'A draw that feels like a massive win for Everton'published at 17:07 British Summer Time 20 May 2023

    Wolves 1-1 Everton

    Paul Robinson
Former Leeds goalkeeper on BBC Radio 5 Live

What a massive, massive result that could be for Everton.

Sean Dyche has got to be so proud of his side, they were outplayed in parts but they never gave up. They kept putting bodies forward, they kept causing problems.

It wasn't pretty at times, I can't remember Daniel Bentley making too many saves in the Wolves goal.

That's not just a result today, it's the mentality, its the attitude they need to bring against Bournemouth next week.

To come away from Molineux today not feeling down, that's a 1-1 draw that feels like a massive win.

    All over!

Roberto Firmino scores in the 90th minute on his final Anfield appearance - but it's likely not going to be enough for Liverpool in their late bid for a Champions League place.

The Aston Villa players will be gutted they couldn't see that out.

  14. 'The point keeps Leeds and Leicester on their toes'published at 17:05 British Summer Time 20 May 2023

    Wolves 1-1 Everton

    Rachel Brown-Finnis
    Ex-England goalkeeper on Final Score

Cross after cross after cross has gone in and Dan Bentley has picked every one up.

This time Everton manage to keep it alive and Yerry Mina finishes at the near post.

This could be the point that keeps Leeds and Leicester on their toes.

  15. Postpublished at 17:04 British Summer Time 20 May 2023

    Liverpool 1-1 Aston Villa

    A free-kick for Liverpool.

Less than one minute to go.

A chance to put the ball into the box. Alisson stays put for now.

Emiliano Martinez catches. Is that it?

  16. Postpublished at 17:03 British Summer Time 20 May 2023

    Liverpool 1-1 Aston Villa

Emiliano Martinez gratefully catches a cross and is once again booed as he keeps hold for as long as he can without risking a second yellow.

    Two minutes to go.

Unai Emery is jumping up and down, waving his arms, trying to get his players to give everything they have for these final moments.

Yerry Mina celebrates with teammatesImage source, Getty Images

The equaliser is pretty much the last kick of the match, and that is a kick in the teeth for Everton's relegation rivals.

A precious point for the Toffees.

  18. Postpublished at 17:01 British Summer Time 20 May 2023

    Liverpool 1-1 Aston Villa

Liverpool are first to everything now, but they are running out of time.

Manchester United's victory means a point will surely not be enough for Jurgen Klopp's side to sneak a top-four place on the final day, with United still having a game in hand.

They need a winner. We've now played 97 minutes.

  19. 'A huge goal from Mina'published at 17:01 British Summer Time 20 May 2023

    Wolves 1-1 Everton

    Paul Robinson
Former Leeds goalkeeper on BBC Radio 5 Live

What a huge goal from Yerry Mina.

A long ball into the far post yet again. Keane causes problems in the middle, Tarkowski touches it on and its Mina who bundles it over the line.

The three centre halves combine to get Everton a vital point.

  20. goal

GOAL - Wolves 1-1 Evertonpublished at 16:59 British Summer Time 20 May 2023

    Yerry Mina (90+9 mins)

    What drama!

Everton keep up the pressure and get the reward for their persistence with a goal made by their defence as James Tarkowski heads down a long throw into the box, Michael Keane squares it and Yerry Mina sweeps in.

That could be a HUGE goal for Everton.
