Kaoru Mitoma weaves into space on the left and finds the forward in the box but his control lets him down and the ball sneaks under his boot.

Nick: This "little Luton" thing from pundits has got to stop. It's not testament to Luton that we're not being thrashed by Brighton within half an hour. It's just expected from a fellow premier league side.
Lifa: Despite the fact that they are going toe toe with a very good Brighton side, a lot of those Luton players look like they spend most of their evenings in the pub. They just give you those “social soccer” kind of vibes.

De Zerbi went absolutely nuts, he thought the chance had gone.
But Mitoma managed to get the ball through to March who somehow got the side of his head on it.

The crowd are getting frustrated as Crystal Palace sweep forward with ease. Eberechi Eze is finding space in key areas. No great chances to speak of, but it feels like a matter of time until the visitors strike.

Michael Keane sweeps home a loose ball following an Everton corner but it is immediately ruled out for a foul on Bernd Leno as he had tried to catch the ball before a clash sent him tumbling to the ground.
The Everton fans are booing but VAR backs up the referee's decision. No goal.

Solly March had a fine season in 2022-23 and he is up and running already with a fine header to steer home Kaoru Mitoma's cross from the left.

A West Ham corner is flicked on and the ball bounces towards the far corner. Philip Billing is there to smash the ball away before Kurt Zouma can steer it home.

Everton have a free kick midway inside the Fulham half after a foul by Willian, which he gets a booking for. The ball is sent to the far post but the visitors are able to deal with the danger.
