It feels like after the work done by Rob Edwards and Nathan Jones before him, there is a real community feel and togetherness at Luton.

They are going to need that now more than ever this season.

They have deserved that because in the first half Sheffield United were trying to press high but Palace got into their stride and were cutting them open.

    They deserve that goal.

Great direct play by Ayew to get to the byline and Edouard was there to apply the finish.

Palace have deserved that. The home side look nervous and could be picked off now they have to chase the game.

    Save!

Bournemouth look to hit back and a lovely ball from Max Aarons sends Dominic Solanke in behind the West Ham defence.

The angle is tight and the striker goes near post but Alphonse Areola gets his angles and his save spot on.

If you want your man to bail you out, he's always there!

It's a lovely fine turn and shot in the area. In the first half that was an area that they struggled to make anything of it but Jarrod Bowen said he was going to take it by the scruff of the neck.

    Everton 0-0 Fulham

    Ashley Williams
Former Wales captain on Final Score

I think Sean Dyche will be happy with the first half and asking for more.

Iwobi has been the standout player. They look really good ad organised and look like they have lots of goals in them.

Marco Silva will be looking for more from their players.

    Jarrod Bowen

    Superb finish!

West Ham's hero in Prague opens his account for the season with a brilliant, curling finish into the top corner.

It looked like the moment had gone until Pablo Fornals won the ball back and set up Bowen.

Along with Bukayo Saka, we've seen two lovely curling finishes today.

    Sheff Utd 0-0 Crystal Palace

Sheffield United are doing well to hold an established Premier League side, but their fans will want to see a bit more attacking intent in this half. Oliver Norwood hits a quick ball into the box but it is too close to Sam Johnstone in the Palace goal.

Everton should be 3 up, if not for a bit more quality upfront (Maupay!). Couple of 1 nil wins while we are waiting for others to be fit and maybe one more in, then a nice warm bath of mid table mediocrity may be ahead for us Blues over the next 9 months 🤞

2nd half needs a magic moment from either lucas Paqueta or David Brooks to light the fire in this game.

I remember Little Luton beating Liverpool in an FA Cup game many years ago. It was ages before I could look at a Vauxhall.

    Bournemouth 0-0 West Ham

    Marc Webber
    Final Score at Vitality Stadium

I think they feel pretty pleased and they have seen some good football.

But with West Ham they have got to put the ball in the back of the net and I can't see where it is coming from.

    This one may end 0-0.

But it's no surprise that they have stuck to their style of play so far this afternoon.

Joao Pedro weaves superbly into a shooting chance in the Luton box. But when the time comes to shoot he snatches at it under pressure and the ball loops harmlessly to the keeper.

So good until the crucial bit.

    Bournemouth 0-0 West Ham

    Marc Webber
    Final Score at Vitality Stadium

These two sides feel they are still finding themselves after that first half.

Bournemouth fans seemed pleased enough with Iraola’s expansive style of play that the possession stats point to.

The problem is, for both sides, they’re not looking like a side that can score from that first half performance.
