    Arsenal 0-0 Nottingham Forest

Arsenal continue to see plenty of the ball around halfway, with Forest more than happy to allow it. The visitors are quickly into gear as soon as the home side try to move much further forward than that.

They're giving hardly any room behind their own defence as Ben White finds when he fails to chip a ball for Bukayo Saka to latch on to.

Matt Turner almost gets himself in a right old mess.

He delays a clearance and allows Eddie Nketiah to close him down before firing the ball against the Arsenal forward and behind.

That could have gone much worse for the ex-Gunners keeper.

Morgan Gibbs-White tries to tackle Thomas Partey and simply bounces off him, to big cheers from the home crowd.

The ground is looking much fuller now after all those E-ticketing issues earlier.

Thankfully, for those late getting into the ground, they've not missed much. In fact, the biggest moment remains that Brennan Johnson miss after he was clean through.

Why haven't Arsenal invested in some quality cover/competition for Jesus? Saka will get his share of goals but they need a decent centre forward.

I thought it was a booking for throwing the ball away, or are we playing to two sets of rules??? Santos should be booked there.

The Forest fans stage the now obligatory 'is this a library?' chant.

Armchair football fan: Yeah I'm not convinced by the idea of Partey being some kind of floating defender/midfielder. Arteta going full Pep - trying to be too clever. I await him proving me completely wrong of course.

Lifa: That terrible miss by Forest is an early indication they will get relegated.

Martin Odegaard tries to pick out Kai Havertz in the middle with a cross but Joe Worrall meets it to head away.

    It's one-way traffic, though.

Why do people say arsenal are over their man city voodoo because they 'won' last week? A massive deflected effort made it a draw after full time!

    Anon

Can we please stop pretending that Arsenal 'beat' City. The blues were the better side and conceded a 101st minute equaliser. The game was decided by a shoot out without extra time. It's hardly comparable to going out and beating City in a 90 minute league game.

Mat Turner has only just left Arsenal to join Forest and he is called into action.

He has to dart out to dive at the feet and block a shot from Eddie Nketiah. The Arsenal striker had gone too early and was offside but Turner didn't know that.

Forest have not had much of a sniff until that chance.

If you're going to get something here, you have to take that.

It's such a sloppy finish. High and wide, sliced off the outside of his boot. Ugly.

    Massive chance for Forest!

Brennan Johnson breaks away to latch on to a headed ball forward with the home defence static.

He has just Aaron Ramsdale to beat but side-foots his effort tamely over the bar.

Forest will not get a better opportunity than that.

Thomas Partey may nominally have started at right-back, but he is moving into midfield at every opportunity.

Another Gunners attack sees Eddie Nketiah head wide from Bukayo Saka's cross, which was a touch too high for the striker.

Bukayo Saka cuts in from the right but his pass for Eddie Nketiah is a tad heavy and the striker is held away by his marker.

It's all Arsenal. As you'd expect.

Josh: Should I stick with the England match or switch to the Arsenal match?

Ben White can certainly pick a pass.

He feed another behind the deep Forest defence for Gabriel Martinelli, but he carries the ball out for a goal-kick.

Forest are going to have to stay switched on at the back for the full 90+ here.
