Martinez has probably had more headers than any other player on the pitch today.
Villa are playing such a high line so when Newcastle do break beyond it he is having to come out to meet the ball.

Unfortunately Villa need a whole new back line and gk if they want to push into the top 4. None of them are any better than mid table and are lucky its only 3 so far today.

Aston Villa are complaining of a foul in the build up and they are checking for offside which I don't think it is.
Isak is just that little bit stronger, wants it a little bit more than Konsa.

Anthony Gordon plays a great ball forward and Ezri Konsa makes a mess of his attempt to clear. Alexander Isak pinches possession and clips a delightful finish into the net from a difficult angle.

Everyone in the ground could see the flag up but the referee continued to let play go on for some time.

A bit of a strange passage of play as Alexander Isak bundles an Aston Villa player off the ball inside the Villa box. The linesman flags for offside but play continues and Isak's shot is pushed away before eventually the whistle goes.
