Fulham 0-0 Brentford
Give-and-go between Harrison Reed and his sort-of-but-not-really namesake Bobby De Cordova-Reid, and the latter has a shot blocked.

Liverpool 1-1 Bournemouth
This has surprised pretty much everyone!
The referee points to the spot after Dominik Szoboszlai goes to ground in the very corner of the box following a tackle from Joe Rothwell.
It was very theatrical, but contact was made.

Former Brighton striker on Final Score
Going back to that penalty appeal from Bournemouth, we are just seeing a re-run now and it does look like a penalty.
Strangely there were little appeals and it seemed to just be swept away, it was a funny one.
Liverpool 1-1 Bournemouth
More boos for Neto as he takes his time over a goal kick.
He can't be doing that too much, as officials have been quick to clamp down on any whiff of time wasting.
Liverpool 1-1 Bournemouth
Bournemouth have not threatened for a little while now.
That Liverpool goal has put them very much on the back foot.
Mohamed Salah swings at a ball sent in field by Diogo Jota, but gets right underneath it to punt it over the bar.
Fulham 0-0 Brentford
Brentford hit their own post, although it wouldn't have counted.
Andreas Pereira swings the corner in and Ethan Pinnock, under pressure from Kenny Tete, heads the ball off the woodwork at his near post.
But the referee deems that pressure from Tete was a foul so it's a free-kick to Brentford.

Diaz is eight yards out, centre of the goal, the ball is bobbling into him.
He knows he won't be able to have the time to control it and turn, so he has instinctively flicked it into the air to volley it.
Brilliant finish, great technique.
Wolves 0-1 Brighton
Better from Wolves as Matheus Cunha flicks the ball around the outside of a defender and Matheus Nunes is onto it. He gets into the box, cuts inside but then bends his shot wide.
Fulham 0-0 Brentford
Mathias Jensen is everywhere in every game I ever see. Well the ones he's playing in. He shuffles one way and the other but then his cross is a simple one for Bernd Leno.
Fulham break with a long ball down the left and win a corner.

Delightful Diaz, really well worked by Jota.
Neto is rooted, wonderful innovation. Liverpool level, not sure they deserve it.
Liverpool 1-1 Bournemouth
This has been a cracking game so far.
Bournemouth are playing a fine counter-attacking strategy to keep Liverpool in check, while the home defence continues to offer up opportunities.
The home side have a spring in their step now, though, after the equaliser.
Mohamed Salah is almost in but a heavy touch and then offside flag sees off the threat.
Fulham 0-0 Brentford
As good a chance as there's been probably. Fulham lose the ball in midfield and it breaks kindly for Yoane Wissa who has a go from 20 yards but it bounces into the gloves of Bernd Leno.
Wolves 0-1 Brighton
Big chance for Wolves!
Fabio Silva is played through on goal as he times his run to stay just onside. He has just Jason Steele to beat as he gets into the box, but Silva's strike lacks conviction and Steele prods behind.

Re 1520 Andy - what are you on about?? Klopp was gonna break transfer record about a week ago, how is that not being backed? Has got two decent midfielders in too
Anon
I've said it for months Klopp needed to go he's to stubborn and can't change and he's just as responsible for the poor transfers as the board.
Anon
Liverpool fans, I'm begging you, the midfield currently on the pitch were all signed in the past nine months - it can't be both "Klopp's not being backed with transfers" and "it's a work in progress". For the sake of all fans of other clubs, please agree on a narrative. Ta!

Fulham 0-0 Brentford
Brentford are sitting very deep in a solid shape out of possession, almost inviting Fulham to attack so that they can counter at pace.
Luis Diaz
A lovely finish!
Diogo Jota's low ball in from the right takes a touch off a defender to give Luis Diaz work to do in the middle. But he does it so well, flicking the ball up and then swivelling to volley in.
That's two in two games at the start of this season for the Reds forward.
Fulham 0-0 Brentford
Brentford put the pressure on from a long Mathias Jensen throw-in but Fulham deal with it and Tim Ream clears.
Liverpool 0-1 Bournemouth

You'll be a brave person to guess the final score of this one. It's been just over 20 minutes of chance after chance - with both sides having loads of opportunities.
Bournemouth have scored, had one disallowed and seen Dominic Solanke shoot over, while Liverpool have hit the crossbar, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Cody Gakpo have fired over and Dominik Szoboszlai had an effort just deflected wide.
Superbly entertaining.

Just hasn't clicked for Liverpool; it will come at some stage.
Bournemouth have started well.

Javel: Liverpool players just want to sit on the ball thinking Bmouth will just watch & wait, then they're surprised when it gets snatched off them! Time & again!
