Frustrating that we can't seem to get over the line against inferior opposition. Once the players on the injury list are back, the Everton are going to fly. Top six is a non-negotiable.

Sheffield United 2-2 Everton
Six shots on target apiece, two goals apiece so far. A draw would probably be a fair result, but both teams would absolutely love to get a winner.

Fabien: Darren @ 14.57 Everyone seems to be forgetting that we have Harrison, Coleman, DCL and Alli injured plus McNeil not yet fully fit. Will make a big difference once they're back.

Sheffield United 2-2 Everton
Ashley Young does take the free-kick and whips it over the wall, but there's just not enough pace on the shot to cause Wes Foderingham any problems and he catches the ball.
Can either side get their first league win of the season? Ten minutes plus injury time to go.
Sheffield United 2-2 Everton

Should Archer be credited with an assist for the Pickford o.g.? Seems only fair.
Bob
Archer was very much a reluctant sale from Villa. Asking for a friend, how soon can the buy-back clause be activated?
Kevin
Sheffield United 2-2 Everton
A change for Everton as Dwight McNeil gets his first action of the campaign after getting injured in pre-season and he replaces James Garner.

Sheffield United 2-2 Everton
Everton's Abdoulaye Doucoure, who scored the first of the game's four goals, gets a booking for an over-enthusiastic shoulder barge, sending Gustavo Hamer to the deck.
A good spell this for the hosts.
Sheffield United 2-2 Everton
A chance for Sheffield United to regain the lead. Luke Thomas, who has only just come on, is found at the back post and connects with a side-footed volley, but Jordan Pickford had done well to narrow the angle, with the strike hitting Pickford's chest and bouncing away. Good save and maybe a very crucial one.

Aidan: You make your own luck in football. And when you're as wasteful as this Everton team your just asking the other team to score
Duncan: Yes, I know the season has just begun but with only one forward, two midfielders, two defenders and two goalies on the bench. It's going to be a long and painful season for Everton. They got lucky staying up last season but this season they're going down.
Sheffield United 2-2 Everton
The Everton fans appeal that Sheffield United goalkeeper Wes Foderingham had handled the ball outside his area, but it is just on the line as Beto looked to chase on to a ball forwards.

Huge goal for Everton. Adamant they’ll edge Sheffield Utd in the battle for 18th now.
Luke
Sheffield United deserved to concede there, so many attempts to foul Everton players in the build up.
Ben, Manchester
Ref should be given credit for playing advantage for Everton goal, easy to criticise but good refereeing

Arnaut Danjuma goes wild in front of the Everton supporters, they've taken up the whole of that lower stand behind Wes Foderingham's goal.
I predicted 4-4 before the game, we're halfway there.
