Brighton 0-0 Newcastle
Joao Pedro sets off a run that is ended by a tumble in the box. Was he shoved over? I think he was off balance so the contact is exaggerated. Looks like the referee agrees.
RESULT: Brighton 3-1 Newcastle
RESULT: Man City 5-1 Fulham
RESULT: Burnley 2-5 Tottenham

FT: Man City 5-1 Fulham
Fulham
Fulham captain Tim Ream speaking to Sky Sports: "Not great. You never want to lose a game like that. We had a good first half and a very much below average second half. We didn't show the same aggressiveness in the second half and results like that happen.
"They [City] have a lot of quality all over the pitch and coming off the bench, and if you aren't aggressive for 90 minutes plus then things can get out of hand very quickly.
On the controversial second goal for Man City: "From our point of view, whenever someone is stood in front of the goal, the ball goes directly at him and he has to jump over the ball it is offside. He was offside to begin with and then when he has to jump over the ball too, it is frustrating when that doesn't get called.
"Whenever goals are scored just before or after half time it is always a critical period in the game, it is a tough moment to concede. You go in at half time with a down feeling instead of going in at 1-1 and feeling like you could get something from the game.
On positives Fulham can take away: " A goal is a goal, but at the end of the day it was a tap in. In terms of positives we need to look at the first half in particular, the duels we competed in, the tackles we put in, the way we moved the ball around is an important lesson for us and a good thing to take forward.
On Joao Palhinha staying at Fulham: "We are excited that he is staying. He was a big part of what we did last year and our start to this season. We will welcome him back into the squad and into the fold and look forward to him helping us to reach our goals this season."
Brighton 0-0 Newcastle
Oh, good save!
Newcastle's first attack for a bit almost brings the opening goal as Miguel Almiron's direct run and deflected shot off Lewis Dunk is pushed aside by an alert Bart Verbruggen.
Brighton 0-0 Newcastle
A great run by Evan Ferguson and a superb pass from Billy Gilmour to find him in the box. The striker is on an angle and fails to catch his shot properly to test Nick Pope.
Lovely approach play, though.

I love Harry Kane, he's a Spurs legend.......but the media narrative that we couldn't replace him was always misplaced. Historically when Kane was injured we always did well, we got to a Champions League final without him. Despite media opinion to the contrary the last few years have seen Spurs dragged down by so called elite managers who wouldn't take responsibility for their own failures - whatever the eventual league position Postecoglu has shown himself already to be a better manager than Jose or Conte, more power to him COYS

FT: Chelsea 0-1 Nottingham Forest
Nottingham Forest
Nottingham Forest goalscorer Anthony Elanga: "It's really big. I feel like the last three games we have been close to winning. We worked hard and defended well. When we won it back, I was quick enough. The manager has congratulated us and told us we deserved to win.
"I want to score goals and as soon as I saw Taiwo [Awoniyi] pass the ball I just wanted to attack the space. I know where the goal is so it was about keeping my composure and hitting it low and quick.
"I need to play to build my confidence. I didn't get to do that much at United but now that I am here I feel like I have the confidence of the manager and now hopefully these opportunities will turn into starts and more goals and assists.
"We can really build on this and keep pushing."
Brighton 0-0 Newcastle
Brighton have definitely settled now after that panicked, frantic opening.
They're the side on the front foot.
Brighton 0-0 Newcastle
Solly March is bang at the forefront of this game. His cross takes a deflection off Matt Targett and strikes the outside of the Newcastle post.
The resulting corner yields a shooting chance for Pervis Estupinan but he fails to catch it.

I really wanted to ‘like’ the post about Ange hugging Son as he came off. But I’m a West Ham fan and someone might find out.
Michelle
I was unsure of Postecoglou at first, but it's looking promising. So glad we didn't reappoint Poch
Paul, Oxford
Yes Poch needs more time - but look at the impact Ange has had on Spurs despite losing their best player and spending a fraction of what Chelsea have. We should still be seeing better from Chelsea

Brighton 0-0 Newcastle
If the game keeps up at this pace, with both sides throwing haymakers, I reckon we'll have a belting game.
Brighton come forward again by Kaoru Mitoma is held up well in midfield.
FT: Brentford 2-2 Bournemouth
Brentford
Goalscorer Bryan Mbuemo speaking to PLP after the game: "It was a tight game as we expected we created enough to take the lead.
"To deliver [score] further chances we need to be honest, we had few opportunities, it is a bit fustrating.
On getting a point against Bournemouth: "They played very compact and they knew what to do we could have done a bit more.
On his form recently: "I think it is very important for a striker to help the team, today it was to take the draw I could have scored to taken the lead earlier in the game."
On international break: "Of course, we keep going we don't want to lose the form and the good condition that we have done so far and we must keep fit."
Brighton 0-0 Newcastle
Well, this is living up to the billing so far. It's really open. Solly March is almost in but his low cross from the left is blocked.
Brighton 0-0 Newcastle
Brighton's first sight of goal.
Solly March has three goals already this season and he is not far off a fourth courtesy of an angled drive that flies over the bar.
Brighton 0-0 Newcastle
Roberto De Zerbi is not going to be enjoying watching his defence gift Newcastle chances here.
Brighton 0-0 Newcastle
Newcastle again!
Pervis Estupinan gives the ball away to Sandro Tonali and his pull back finds Alexander Isak for a shot he fluffs wide.
Could easily be 2-0 to Newcastle. We've only played three minutes.

"No manager in football history could turn around a club in less than a month" 2 words Ryan @16:37 Eddie Howe
Adam H
@Ryan 16:37 - Ange Postecoglou has managed it!
Tim, Bournemouth
D'Angelo: To those saying it takes time to gel a new squad. Somehow Mourinho managed to win a league with lots of signings in 04/05. If you buy quality, it’s possible. If you buy overawed youngsters who think they are the bees knees, it doesn’t. Sickened by these players.
Brighton 0-0 Newcastle
Newcastle are out the blocks at speed.
Bruno Guimaraes' superb ball released Alexander Isak into the Brighton box but he delays his shot and is then tackled by Jan Paul van Hecke.
Needed to get his shot away.
Brighton 0-0 Newcastle
Brighton flirt with danger early on via a poor goalkeeping clearance, allowing a Newcastle player in their half to get a head to the ball, but their fortunate it leads to nothing.
Brighton 0-0 Newcastle
Two attacking sides, both wanting an immediate response to a chastening league defeat. Should be plenty of goals, so cue a 0-0.
Surely not.
We're under way.
Brighton v Newcastle (17:30 BST)
Chris Sutton
Former Blackburn striker
A lot was made of Newcastle losing to 10 men - Liverpool is a game you'd expect them to see through, especially after taking the lead.
Brighton ended up losing to West Ham and they play this expansive style of game; they like teams who come onto them and Newcastle will certainly do that.
It's impossible to predict this one. I'll go for a draw.
Sutton's prediction: 1-1
