    Ipswich Town 0-2 Wolves

Any way back for Ipswich? Jack Taylor tries his luck from 20 yards out and it may have crept inside the near post but Daniel Bentley in the Wolves goal got down well to avoid being beaten and push the ball behind.

    Exeter 0-0 Luton

After being under pressure early, Exeter have come out of the other side and are starting to grow into the game.

James Scott gave Luton a minor scare as he let fly from 30 yards but the ball sails just wide of the keeper's right-hand post.

    Salford 0-2 Burnley

    Emlyn Begley
    BBC Sport at Peninsula Stadium

Is the game over already? Salford keeper Alex Cairns appealed for offside, probably more in hope than expectation, as Jacob Bruun Larsen's shot sailed over his head.

Burnley are pushing for more. Salford look a bit shellshocked.

  4. 'Quality finish' from Larsenpublished at 20:09 British Summer Time 26 September 2023

    Salford 0-2 Burnley

    Michael Brown
Former Manchester City midfielder on BBC Radio 5 Live

Talk about quality and class, Sander Berge gets the ball and he fizzes it into Jay Rodriguez in the middle then it was the forward runs that helped.

As Alex Cairns comes out it sits up and Jacob Bruun Larsen dinks it over the top into the back of the net. From Burnley's point of view that is a quality finish.

  5. Postpublished at 20:09 British Summer Time 26 September 2023

    Man Utd 0-0 Crystal Palace

Palace are almost in down the left. Jordan Ayew releases Jeffrey Schlupp for a cross that is designed for Jean-Philippe Mateta but doesn't reach him thanks to Harry Maguire.

  6. goal

GOAL - Bradford 0-1 Middlesbroughpublished at 21 mins

    Emmanuel Latte Lath

The Championship side had been threatening and now they have the lead!

Middlesbrough push forward again with Hayden Hackney driving through the middle before sliding the ball into the path of Emmanuel Latte Lath.

The striker takes the shot on first time and squeezes it past Harry Lewis in the Bradford net. The keeper may feel he could have done better.

  7. goal

    Jacob Bruun Larsen

This is already getting ugly for Salford!

A ball forward is touched off by Jacob Bruun Larsen, who then swivels to latch on to a chipped pass from Anass Zaroury before finishing.

It's a first Clarets goal for the man on loan from Hoffenheim.

  8. Amrabat the left-backpublished at 20:04 British Summer Time 26 September 2023

    Man Utd 0-0 Crystal Palace

    Simon Stone
    BBC Sport at Old Trafford

New signing Sofyan Amrabat does indeed make his first Manchester United start at left-back.

United have paid an initial £8.6m loan fee for the Moroccan midifielder, who was instrumental in Fiorentina's run to the Europa Conference League final last term and also his country's shock charge to the World Cup semi-final.

  9. Postpublished at 20:03 British Summer Time 26 September 2023

    Bradford 0-0 Middlesbrough

Sam Silvera goes close for the visitors with a dipping shot that drops just wide of the far post.

Boro are pushing for the opening goal.

    Salford 0-1 Burnley

    Emlyn Begley
    BBC Sport at Peninsula Stadium

That goal killed the atmosphere somewhat.

And there has been a break in play almost since then with Manuel Benson needing a fair bit of treatment before being helped off the pitch.

But a thumbs up to his coaches and he’s going to play on. Mike Tresor puts his bib back on.

  11. goal

GOAL - Ipswich Town 0-2 Wolvespublished at 15 mins

    Toti

All too easy for Premier League Wolves.

Ipswich, second in the Championship, fall two behind after only 15 minutes. The visitors have a corner from the right, Santiago Bueno powers a header at goal, home goalkeeper Vaclav Hladky can only parry it and Toti is there to bury the close-range rebound volley.

This had looked a tough assignment for Wolves, but they're cruising through at the moment.

  12. 'Worrying for Salford'published at 20:01 British Summer Time 26 September 2023

    Salford 0-1 Burnley

    Michael Brown
Former Manchester City midfielder on BBC Radio 5 Live

It was a great delivery from Anass Zaroury who puts it central and Sander Berge is an aerial threat. Berge rises unchallenged, it is poor marking from a Salford perspective they have got to do much better.

That is so worrying for Salford.

  13. KICK-OFFpublished at 20:00 British Summer Time 26 September 2023

It's been all Luton in the first 10 minutes here.

The Premier League side has seen Cauley Woodrow hit the bar from close range at a tight angle, while Luke Berry had a long-range effort tipped over the bar.

It could be a long night for Exeter.

    Sander Berge

    Too easy!

Sander Berge rises highest in the middle to meet a corner and head in.

    Salford 0-0 Burnley

Biggest cheer of the game so far as Ryan Watson drops a cheeky little nutmeg in midfield.

It's mostly Burnley so far but nothing you could call a chance. Salford not afraid to go long.

Disappointed to see that Hojlund isn't starting. He is only just finding his feet and surely the more minutes he gets the better? Martial's time at United must be coming to an end and I haven't seen him have a decent performance for a very long time.

  19. goal

GOAL - Mansfield 1-0 Peterboroughpublished at 5 mins

    Will Swan

Will Swan won the penalty for the League Two side and he picked himself up to convert the spot kick to put Mansfield in front against Peterborough.

Swan's penalty was pretty central, but away goalkeeper Nicholas Bilokapic dived to his right.

  20. CLOSE!published at 19:53 British Summer Time 26 September 2023

    Bradford 0-0 Middlesbrough

Very good start from Middlesbrough at Bradford and they should be ahead.

They attack down the right through Tommy Smith, he cuts the ball back and it's Lewis O'Brien rushing onto it in the middle.

The left-back looks certain to score but puts the shot over the bar!
