We knew this was going to be physical and it certainly has been.

Rachel Daly and Alex Greenwood have had some elbows to the face, Lauren Hemp has been clattered into and Alessia Russo has done really well to use her strength to close down Colombia's defence.

The crowd - which is very pro-Colombia - are encouraging it.

The general consensus is that this has been a much better performance so far from England compared to the one against Nigeria.

That being said, they still need to score.

When asked to defend, they are getting back and helping out.

Lauren Hemp and Alessia Russo have been a joy to watch, getting forward and working this Colombia backline.

Dangerous ball in by Ana Guzman, who has been super since coming on.

Millie Bright heads it away and England have a chance to break but it's well cleared by the Colombia defence.

England have dominated this game so far with a few moments from Colombia but that's where the danger lies from this Colombia side.

England are winning the first and second balls. These are the small details against Nigeria that we just didn't see.

Millie Bright reads the game well to muscle Mayra Ramirez off the ball.

England have had five attempts on goal so far, two on target with just the two efforts from Colombia and none challenging Mary Earps in the England goal.

Rachel Daly probably should have put that across goal because the Colombian players were ready to defend the shot at the near post.

Rachel Daly again!

This time she goes for the effort from range but no joy. England getting closer with 30 minutes gone.

Alex Greenwood loops in the corner, it's half cleared and Georgia Stanway goes for what looked like a shot but actually ended up landing right on Rachel Daly's head.

Daly's header is straight into the hands of the keeper, though. Not a bad effort.

The Colombian people love their football, they're so passionate about everything, whether it's their food, football, life in general.

There are mini parties going on around us everywhere at this moment in time. You can see that on the pitch. The challenges they are happy to go into.

It means so much to them, not just to be here but to compete. This is a quarter-final, they want to make history, that's how much it means.

Colombia are not afraid to put a tackle in, that's for sure!

Somehow we're already halfway into the first half. It has flown by.

Rachel Daly is on the grass here. It's Ana Guzman again with the challenge and it looks like she has whacked her in the face while going in for the 50/50 challenge. Daly fine to continue.

No danger of Guzman backing out of a challenge, then.

The stands at Stadium Australia are finally filling up.

We're told it is almost a sell-out, so 75,000-plus expected here, but a large proportion of Australian fans who had bought tickets for this match have been watching their team's dramatic penalty shoot-out win on large screens which were erected outside the stadium.

They have now taken their seats but there's probably quite a few celebrating on the streeets of Sydney!

I'm surprised there wasn't a talking to there, it certainly deserved one.

Cameras have just shown a heartbroken Carolina Arias in tears on the bench. That is gutting for her.
