Burnley lead at the break. Luca Koleosho has been the star of the half and his searing run led to the Clarets' goal, with Zeki Amdouni scoring from 20 yards out.

Vincent Kompany will go in happy, work for Steve Cooper to do.

Anthony Elanga, who scored against Chelsea last time out, gets the ball on his right foot and curls an effort at goal for Forest but Burnley goalkeeper James Trafford gets his positioning right and saves it routinely.

Every time Luca Koleosho gets the ball you can see the panic in the eyes of the Forest defenders. It takes two of them to crowd him out as he was about to spring into the penalty area.

If it was going to be anyone it was Luca Koleosho, he's been electric. How about that for a touch to take it past Joe Worrall.

They get a bit fortunate, Lyle Foster misses it and it lands at the feet of Zeki Amdouni. Can he control it? You bet he can. He makes it look easy.

Zeki Amdouni loves playing at the City Ground.

He scored a last minute winner here less than two weeks ago and has grabbed the opener tonight.

A lovely strike from the Switzerland international.

Zeki Amdouni scored the only goal when the two sides met in the Carabao Cup last month and he gets the first of the night now.

Luca Kolesoho, who has looked superb, is too good and too quick for Joe Worrall, outpacing him down the left as he gets to the byeline. His pull-back can't be gathered by Lyle Foster and Amdouni, just outside the penalty area, strikes hard past Matt Turner with a lovely finish.

Burnley are exposed on counter-attacks. There's no question Forest can hurt them. They have runners, they have pace.

    On the corner...

I don't think I've ever seen a goalkeeper exposed with no protection from his defenders. That is a chance.

Forest earn a corner of the left and James Trafford stays on his line and is lucky no home player can get on the end of it. Taiwo Awoniyi and Scott McKenna both went for it, but neither could glance a header at goal.

Luca Koleosho looks a real threat for Burnley. He nutmegs Forest's record signing Ibrahim Sangare, who then concedes a foul and is a bit fortunate to not see a card as well.

  11. YELLOW CARDpublished at 35 mins

    Nottingham Forest 0-0 Burnley

Forest's Gonzalo Montiel, who has been struggling to deal with the lively Luca Koleosho down Burnley's left, gets a yellow card, diving in and catching Josh Brownhill late. Not a pretty challenge, but yellow the right decision.

Orel Mangala gets a yellow for the hosts, for wrestling Zeki Amdouni to the ground when Burnley looked to spring a counter-attack.

  13. GREAT SAVE!published at 30 mins

    Nottingham Forest 0-0 Burnley

Burnley's best moment by far. Matt Turner in the Forest goal does extremely well to get down so quickly and get his fingertips to a powerful strike from Zeki Amdouni to stop it going in the corner.

That's one really good save apiece from both keepers and this one's warming up nicely.

Forest get to the byeline, but Morgan Gibbs-White, eight yards out, just can't get on the end from Taiwo Awoniyi's pullback and the visitors smuggle it clear.

Burnley boss Vincent Kompany, one of the best defenders ever in the Premier League era, will not be pleased at how easy Awoniyi got in there.

Good start from Callum Hudson-Odoi. He tried to give the goalkeeper the eyes and shoot at the near post but it's a good save.

Taiwo Awoniyi makes the chance for Forest, robbing the Burnley defender Jordan Beyer, and gives it to Callum Hudson-Odoi.

The ex-Chelsea man, on his Forest Premier League debut, hits it first time from the edge of the box and it would've gone in, had it not been for James Trafford diving to his right, getting two hands on it and pushing it wide.

You don't want your goalkeeper to be walking a tightrope for 80+ minutes of a game.

  20. YELLOW CARDpublished at 12 mins

    Nottingham Forest 0-0 Burnley

Burnley goalkeeper James Trafford gets a booking supposedly for time wasting after only 11 minutes, taking too long to launch a free-kick up field. Vincent Kompany is not too happy on the Burnley bench, but not with the player, but rather the officials.
