That looks like it's going to be a fascinating battle this evening.

It's a huge game, particularly for Burnley. Vincent Kompany has such belief in the group. The international break came at a good time to let them lick their wounds.

Defeat for Nottingham Forest tonight would be their 100th in the Premier League.

They have won two of their four top-flight fixtures so far this campaign. Last season, it took them until their 15th league game on 22 November to reach three victories.

Forest are aiming to win five successive top-flight home matches for the first time since a run of seven from April to August 1991 under Brian Clough.

Steve Cooper's side have scored in their last 11 top-flight games, their longest streak since a run of 14 between February and August 1995.

Daniel: People need to remember that Burnley have only played three games which were against the Champions of Europe, a rejuvenated Spurs and a Villa that will be aiming for Europe this season. I feel many teams would be on the 0 points if this was their opening three fixtures. Very early doors for Burnley when you look at it that way.

Nottingham Forest v Burnley (19:45 BST)

Burnley are aiming to avoid losing their first four fixtures of a league campaign for only the third time in their history, after the 1927-28 and 2002-03 seasons. They managed to avoid relegation on both those occasions.

Vincent Kompany's side could become only the second side to concede at least three goals in each of their opening four matches of a Premier League campaign, emulating West Ham United in the 2010-11 season. The Hammers finished bottom of the table and were relegated.

Burnley's chief operating officer Matt Williams told BBC Radio Lancashire that Vincent Kompany's energy is "infectious" at the club: "He's a workaholic, football obsessive and his attention to detail is second to none.

"He always wants to develop people. I'd say I've developed during my time working with him, I'd like to think he's learnt things from me too, things he probably wasn't aware of having not been at this level in the English game before in terms of structure.

"He's a super guy and he wants to learn everything about the business, not just what happens on the grass and what happens on a Saturday afternoon.

"He wants to know about ticket sales and why there are non attendees on a Saturday. He's really proactive in his approach, educating our media team on what he thinks they should do, educating our commercial team on how we can have football at the centre, but it not be the be all and end all.

"Vincent's standards are the highest in everything he does, he's been at the highest level throughout his career and he wants to set those standards with us. He also understands the budget restrictions at the club.

"He could be one the of the best technical directors in world football tomorrow, likewise one of the best coaches. He will determine what his career path is, and he will be successful in whatever he does."

    Chris Sutton
    Former Blackburn striker

Burnley have already lost as many league games - three - as they did when they won the Championship last season.

A lot of people got excited about them because of the way they played expansive football to win promotion under Vincent Kompany, but this is the Premier League, and you've got to be able to defend if you want to pick up points.

That is their issue at the moment. They have got some very good young players and I like the idea of what they are trying to do, but there also has to be an element of being practical too.

The Clarets beat Forest at the City Ground in the Carabao Cup last month but both teams made a lot of changes.

This time, I am expecting Steve Cooper's side to come out on top.

They have got a bit more nous about them and although they will miss Brennan Johnson after his move to Tottenham, Taiwo Awoniyi is absolutely flying at the moment.

    Sutton's prediction: 2-1

Adam: Burnley's big mistake was not signing Tella permanently from Southampton. Scored 17 goals for them last season and was key to get them promoted. Given he's now at Leverkusen, it shows he was available.

These two sides faced each other less than two weeks ago in the Carabao Cup and Burnley emerged victorious on that occasion courtesy of Zeki Amdouni's last minute strike.

The Clarets are back at the City Ground for their first away Premier League game of the campaign having suffered three straight defeats at Turf Moor.

Vincent Kompany's side cantered to the Championship title last season with 101 points but have already equalled the same number of losses from last term.

Can they get their season up and running tonight?
