I do sometimes find myself wondering if a player/manager gets offended if they just get called "top" rather than "top, top".

I think I need to find more productive things to do with my free time.

  2. 'Unlucky not to get the three points'published at 16:12 British Summer Time 17 September 2023

    FT: Bournemouth 0-0 Chelsea

    Bournemouth

Bournemouth midfielder Lewis Cook speaking to Sky Sports: "It was real tough. Chelsea are a top, top team and we know that. We know in this league we'll have to suffer sometimes but I think we defended really well. We limited them to a few chances and [we were] unlucky not to get the three points."

On how he found the game: "I really enjoyed it. It's the best league in the world and we all love playing in it. We know we're going to come up against some tough players and some tough teams but we relish that and work hard every day on the training game. These are the games you want to be involved in."

On playing against Enzo Fernandez: "I felt I did good. I had quite a big job to mark him. He's a top, top player and we all know that. It's good."

  3. 'A lot of positives to take'published at 16:10 British Summer Time 17 September 2023

    FT: Bournemouth 0-0 Chelsea

    Bournemouth

Bournemouth striker Dominic Solanke speaking to Sky Sports: "I want to score every game. I didn't quite manage to do it today.

"We'll take the point,. Three would've been better but we move onto the next one."

On if Bournemouth are building something: "We've got a great squad. We've had quite a tough start with fixtures but the last two games are two draws we probably could've got wins from. It's probably a negative in that point but there are a lot of positives to take and build on."

  4. 'Arsenal will find a way to win'published at 16:07 British Summer Time 17 September 2023

Can Sean Dyche do it again against Mikel Arteta?

Another win would be massive but it's a huge ask for Everton, even if they have been playing better at Goodison Park than their results suggest.

I think Everton will score but even if Arsenal aren't at their best, they will still find a way to win.

    Prediction: 1-2

Steve: This mess is 100% down to Boehly. Instead of backing and asking winning manager Tuchel what he needed, he decided he knew better and went on a 'fantasy league' splurge leaving Chelsea with no heart, talent or hope.

Conor: Sterling has been absolutely terrible. He's far too slow with everything he does and seems to play every minute of every game - dreadful that he's one of the experienced ones too!

  13. YELLOW CARDpublished at 90+6 mins

Ben Chilwell grabs the shirt of Justin Kluivert and spins him around by it. Easy yellow.

At moments this Chelsea team look so good and so fluid in attack. At other times they look like they've never played with each other. It's very much still a work in progress for Mauricio Pochettino.
