Brentford 1-2 Everton
Brentford respond immediately and there is an almighty scramble inside the Everton box as the visitors dig deep to keep the Bees out.
James Tarkowski
Thoroughly deserved.
There are eight or nine Brentford players waiting to defend Dwight McNeil's corner but James Tarkowski still finds space to plant a firm header into the net.
A great moment for the Toffees captain who scores against his former club.
Will it be the winner?

Seriously... Dyche needs sacking for that substitution alone. Outrageous.

Beto has been excellent. A really impressive shift. When will we see him alongside Calvert-Lewin?
Brentford 1-1 Everton
And here comes Dominic Calvert-Lewin who has been warming-up for ages. He won't partner Beto who makes way for his team-mate.

Changes are happening - but there is nothing happening on the Everton bench yet. Kristoffer Ajer and Frank Onyeka on in a double change for the home side. Mads Roerslev and Vitaly Janelt make way.
Brentford 1-1 Everton
Every Brentford player is behind the ball as a cross is whipped into the box and Beto leaps to head wide.
Is Beto about to be joined by Calvert-Lewin? Or will Dyche bring Beto off?

Everton do seem to pick up from where they left off in the first half. They are in control at the moment - cool and composed on the ball. But Sean Dyche won't be happy if they don't score another goal this half.
Brentford 1-1 Everton
Sound the Dominic Calvert-Lewin klaxon. He's about to come on.
Brentford 1-1 Everton
Everton are controlling possession while Brentford are looking to catch their opponents on the counter. To be honest, not much has happened this half.

I'm not really sure what the point of Gana Gueye is anymore. He isn't in his old holding role, but he's not really a creative force and doesn't score goals. What's he there for? Play Garner inside and add another attacking option.

First shot in anger of the second half.
And it comes from the boot of Dwight McNeil who creates space for himself before firing straight at Mark Flekken.
He didn't really make the Brentford keeper work.
Brentford 1-1 Everton
Great work by Amadou Onana who steals possession from Brentford captain Christian Norgaard but Everton cannot make the most of it.
Brentford 1-1 Everton
Now Mathias Jensen is down getting treatment. It doesn't look too serious though and the Bees goalscorer gets a round of applause from the home fans as he gets to his feet.
Brentford 1-1 Everton
The TV cameras cut to Kevin Schade who is hobbling around on crutches. He was due to start this game but was injured in the warm-up. A big blow for Brentford who lost Rico Henry to a serious injury a few days ago.

Back under way.
A reminder that the Premier League action continues after this. There is a 20:00 BST kick-off to come as Burnley host Manchester United.
HT: Brentford 1-1 Everton
There was just 89 seconds between Abdoulaye Doucoure hitting the bar for Everton and Mathias Jensen scoring Brentford's equaliser.

This has been end-to-end. Both teams really giving it a go. A big improvement for Everton from last week. Every ball that has gone into the box from the Toffees, they've had first contact, and it's been good contact. They've certainly worked on getting the bodies in the box. But Brentford managed to find a goal, and it's finally poised.
Everton will be disappointed by that.
