Former Manchester United defender on Sky Sports

They are missing Udogie. What he has done at the start of the season has been outstanding. They have lost a bit of impetus and maybe that is where Postecoglou feels they can change the game. But they need to get Maddison on the ball more.

Palace stopped Spurs from playing that half. A few well placed fouls will do that. Richarlison just not performing. Sell him January and get a decent replacement. Eze would be perfect. Bentancur on 2nd half to give Spurs the win.

John: Bottle Maddison up appears to be Crystal Palace’s main plan on a tight pitch.

Alan: Top of the PL and serving up this rubbish. Spurs are having a laugh aren't they?

  8. Of course!published at 20:57 BST 27 October 2023

    HT: Crystal Palace 0-0 Tottenham

Palace have stopped the opposition from scoring a first-half goal in 8 of their 10 games, more than any other in the English Premier League this season.

Palace have also failed to score a first-half goal in 9 of their 10 games, more often than any other team in the English Premier League this season.

I should have had money on 0-0 at the break.

After just the two added minutes, the ref blows for half-time.

It's not lit up this Friday night. Palace have had arguably the better of the few and hardly clear chances.

  10. 'Postecoglou will look to change something after the break'published at 20:48 BST 27 October 2023

    Crystal Palace 0-0 Tottenham

    Jamie Carragher
Former Liverpool defender on Sky Sports

You go away from home in the Premier League. It is a tough game. You are coming up against Roy Hodgson who is really experienced. It doesn't mean that you have played badly.

But in the first five or 10 minutes of the second half I'm sure Postecoglou will look to change something from the bench.

Re 'anon' @ 20:34. He said he was top 3. Pickford and Steele? Behave. Raya been having a mare lately also. Vicario has been a massive upgrade on Lloris. And I'm not even a spurs fan.

This is a concerted spell from Palace now.

Will Hughes flings himself in to try and get a header on goal but has to settle for another corner, which is cleared but only ends up at the feet of Joel Ward. His effort from the edge of the box deflects over the bar.

Spurs players have the pain threshold of a five-year-old child. The slightest touch and they scream, roll about and hold whatever part of their body they imagine is injured.

To Anon 20:34 on current form it’s hard to argue against Vicario not being the best GK in the league at this present time.
