    Two more Tottenham changes.

On comes Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg for Yves Bissouma, with Brennan Johnson replacing Richarlison.

Presumably, Johnson's pace is something Spurs will look to on the break as Palace are forced to come out.

There's no rush for Spurs now. Cristian Romero and Guglielmo Vicario share about 300 passes between them as the Palace crowd gets increasingly angry at how passive their side are being.

    Jamie Carragher
Former Liverpool defender on Sky Sports

He won't care if it's an own goal or not.

The impact he has had in terms of goals and assists has been superb. It seems like he is just at the heart of everything, James Maddison, since he's joined the club.

But I think Joel Ward has to do better.

That goal has come after some sloppy play in the Palace defence. They couldn't clear and Maddison's shot is turned in by Joel Ward.

    Of course, an own goal!

Tottenham strike first as they get in down the right and set up James Maddison to lash over a ball that Joel Ward diverts into his own goal.

    Oh, Palace are almost in!

Jeffrey Schlupp sneaks his way in down the left and drives over a low ball that is halted in the middle and invites a goalscoring touch before Spurs get it clear.

Tottenham’s performances this season are not representative of their points haul and they look poor against a depleted Palace team who are not giving anything away. The Eagles look more threatening so could nick this 1-0!

Tottenham force their first corner through good work from Dejan Kulusevski. They take it short, allow Will Hughes to nip in and win the ball and a throw. Complete waste.

Spurs seem to lack versatility and Palace have worked out how to contain them.
