Spurs being top is very much like the elephant on top of the tree, nobody knows how it got there but everyone knows it will fall down.

Palace have offered very little since going behind.

Tottenham have managed this game very well.

Has any manager ever won three straight manager of the month awards? Let alone three in a row in his first three months at the club. Spurs no longer ‘Spursy’

Anon: OK let's not get carried away...5 points ahead is brilliant...great performance but we are only at the beginning of November...so take it game by game COYS.

Daniel: Remember the positive starts under early Mourinho and last season under Conte. As a Spurs fan I say forget the title, but be happy that top 4 is again in sight - don’t feed the trolls with title talk.

BB: Don't worry. As Spurs fans we know the wobble is coming some day soon!

Matheus Franca is on for Jefferson Lerma and Jean-Philippe Mateta replaces Odsonne Edouard. Not sure it'll make much difference.

This isn't going to help the home fans' mood. They have the ball following a cleared corner but the game is stopped with Cristian Romero down and holding his head. The Spurs defender is soon up and ready to carry on.

Nick: You have to hand it Ange, he clearly tweaks a few things at half time and he has these players respecting him.

Anon: Spurs look a lot more balanced without Kane. Playing it around rather than looking for their talisman. What a team! Proud to be a Spurs fan right now!

Daniel: 5 points clear after 10 games. Hands up for everyone who predicted that before the season.

I'm the kind who stays to the end regardless, but this is about the point when you imagine a few Palace fans will be looking at their watch and thinking about beating the traffic.

That second goal looks to have knocked the stuffing out of Palace. Jesurun Rak-Sakyi looks to get past Emerson Royal on the right but tumbles over. There's no foul.

I don't think anyone is getting carried away and the manager is doing great. They are really enjoying it.

When people ask me whether they are in the title race I am hesitant, but what a great place to be.

Sangers: Spurs have a lot more depth in the midfield and forward positions that people give them credit for. Players that can change a game.

Scott: There are three certainties in life: death, taxes and a Son goal.

Son Heung-min now has eight goals this season in the Premier League. I think it's safe to say he's back.

Dennis: Ange Postecoglou is the BEST MANAGER IN THE PREMIER LEAGUE

Rachel: What a delicious unSpursy dream this is!

Ed: Hugely enjoyed Palace fans booing Vicario keeping the ball at his feet and 30 seconds later Son scored.

Tyrick Mitchell is done. Nathaniel Clyne is on in his place.

It feels like a lost cause now, though.

Absolutely brilliant from Tottenham. The footwork from James Maddison is outstanding and it's a brilliant pass.

Johnson does really well to find Son.

The front three all involved but Son is not going to miss from there. He is on absolute fire. Not just this season but he has been for a long time.

What a superstar he has been for a number of years.

    This is just brilliant!

Front to back, Spurs take Palace to the cleaners. A pass is belted out to the left for Brennan Johnson, who heads on to James Maddison and then darts past him to receive a pass in the box.

His low ball into the middle is tapped in by Son Heung-min.

They're a different animal this season. They're going five points clear.
