Manchester United have not got off to a great start at all.

Caught out in the opening couple of minutes and again just then, when Sofyan Amrabat and Harry Maguire failed to deal with a counter-attack which so nearly led to a Copenhagen goal.

Erik ten Hag's side need to do better. Much better.

    Sevilla 0-0 Arsenal

Now Sevilla come close, Lucas Ocampos poking just wide at the near post from a low cross by Jesus Navas.

Sevilla have not started the season well - nine points from nine league matches - but are always a different beast in Europe.

Diogo Goncalves just pulls away where the ball is and he did not catch it right with his side foot.

He tried to guide it right into the corner and Andre Onana was nowhere near it!

A big let-off for Manchester United!

Harry Maguire's poor tackle allows Mohamed Elyounoussi to break into the home half. His cross beats Raphael Varane and is met on the volley by Diogo Goncalves. He doesn't catch it properly but sends the effort against the base of the post.

United scramble to make sure there's no follow up to give the visitors the lead.

Arsenal come close with their first real attack!

It's a direct ball from left back which splits Sevilla wide open, and comes through to Gabriel Martinelli however his shot is saved then rebounds off the forward and goes out for a goal kick.

Arteta needs to rotate keepers after Ramsdale's paternity leave and prove why it's good to have two primed and ready keepers. I can understand Ramsdale leaving if he barely plays til January, he's too good for the bench.

The first effort at goal is from the visitors, with Elias Achouri's shot from range forcing Andre Onana into a save.

The resulting corner is fully dealt with until a foul from a visiting player ends the threat.

A tentative start from both teams in Seville, although there's plenty of noise from a fervent crowd at Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan.

Arsenal almost find a way through via a long throw but the ball just won't quite settle for Gabriel Jesus to shoot.

This is a big game tonight because of the Arsenal defeat against Lens, they lose tonight they drop out of the top two.

Arsenal is a club that is so well versed and so used to being in the Champions League but this current group of players haven't been in the competition together. It has been well publicised how Arsenal have had to wait to get back into this.

Man Utd v FC Copenhagen (20:00 BST)

    Simon Stone
    BBC Sport at Old Trafford

Obviously, paying tribute to the life and legacy of Sir Bobby Charlton is the main focus of tonight's game at Old Trafford.

But the brutal reality is Manchester United must beat FC Copenhagen if they are to retain a realistic hope of making the last 16.

Erik ten Hag's side lost here against Galatasaray three weeks ago, having been beaten 4-3 in their opening game against Bayern Munich at the Allianz Arena.

"We have shown positive signs in our opening two games, such as scoring three times in Munich and dominating our opening home fixture against Galatasaray," said manager Erik ten Hag in his programme notes.

"But there have also been clear and obvious lessons to take, such as reducing individual errors and ensuring we are more clinical in front of goal.

"Whoever we face, wherever we play, Manchester United go into each game expecting to win because of the club's history, which was built by great people before us.

"Tonight presents us with a big, important European night at Old Trafford where victory is our only option."
