Melvine Malard got a goal on her home debut against Arsenal on Friday off the bench and the on-loan Lyon forward has just grabbed the equaliser against PSG.

A very strong attacking line-up from Manchester United now.

Their substitutes have made massive impacts in their two WSL games so far.

They need them to do the same here.

Manchester United make a couple of changes as on come Hinata Miyazawa and Melvine Malard with Lucia Garcia and Lisa Naalsund making way.

Geyse plays a wonderfully weighted ball through for Leah Galton, who tries to bend a shot round the goalkeeper but it is into the sidenetting!

The crowd are really loud now, this is end-to-end.

It is a lot more open now, compared to the PSG attack versus the Manchester United defence of at least the first half hour of this game.

PSG, of course, still look a real threat when they do come forward and Korbin Albert turns her marker inside the box but fires her shot wide of the far post.

A Manchester United corner is almost deflected into the net by a PSG player, before the ball is hacked off the line by Marie-Antoinette Katoto.

Geyse is going to be the one to make something happen if Manchester United do get back into this and she sends an excellent ball into the near post that PSG have to put behind.

PSG mixed it up for that goal, bypassing the midfield and going straight over the top, exploiting the pace of Tabitha Chawinga.

It was a lovely finish as Chawinga waited for Mary Earps to come out, before putting it past her.

You could hear a pin drop when the goal was scored as Leigh Sports Village was silenced, apart from the celebrations of the PSG staff on the touchline.

Marie-Antoinette Katoto is on for Lieke Martens and that adds even more of an attacking threat to this PSG side as they look to put the game out of Manchester United's reach.

PSG's Marie-Antoinette Katoto has been receiving detailed instructions for a while now. She's coming on and she will no doubt give United something to think about.

There's definitely more intent about Manchester United now, more bravery and that in turn is encouraging the home fans to cheer that bit more loudly.

Some wonderful skill by Geyse on the left as Manchester United attack again.

Her arrival is really giving PSG something to think about.

Marc Skinner spoke earlier this week about the directiveness of some of his new signings and their willingness to take players on one-v-one.

Geyse was one of those he highlighted.

She's been on for less than five minutes and has already beaten a few defenders.

A really bright introduction already by Geyse, as she cuts inside and runs along the edge of the area, waiting for the space to shoot. In the end she blasts well over, but she's already brought some attacking positivity to the hosts.

Geyse's introduction is warmly received at Leigh Sports Village. Many were surprised not to see her in the starting XI.
