It's still goalless and you would think that will be the main message from Marc Skinner to his players.

They have been second best but PSG haven't taken their chances and United grew into it a bit by the end of the half.

But I wouldn't be surprised at all to see changes sooner rather than later.

Geyse is the obvious weapon for United on the bench but they also have Melvine Malard and Nikita Parris, while Hayley Ladd's composure and defensive-mindset could sure up the midfield.

Goalless at the break and the players are applauded off. Manchester United defended well and grew into the game as it wore on.

Leah Galton is frustrated after the referee gives a PSG goal kick when it should be a Manchester United corner after the ball came off a defender.

This has been an encouraging finish to the half by Manchester United as they seem to have more of a handle on PSG now.

The 45 minutes are up and there will be five added on after that long delay while Oriane Jean-François received treatment before being taken off.

Some good pressing from Manchester United as Jayde Riviere knocks the ball out for a throw to halt a PSG attack.

Approaching half time and if the hosts can get in level that will be a very good outcome given the long periods of dominance the visitors have had.

Mary Earps has been a busy woman. We've got under 10 minutes left of the first half and Marc Skinner has spent most of it chatting with his coaching staff and looking at their tactical boards.

It's not worked for his side - at all.

Tabitha Chawinga attempts a shot with the outside of her left boot, trying to curl the ball into the far corner, but it is a comfortable gather for Mary Earps.

A rare mistake by Millie Turner and Sandy Baltimore is able to charge forward for PSG. She threads a great ball through the defence for Korbin Albert, but she fires well over.

A big catch by Mary Earps from a free kick draws big applause from the home fans. The Manchester United goalkeeper then takes a moment before releasing the ball to give her team-mates time to gather themselves.

Manchester United are growing in confidence and the ball is worked to Jayde Riviere wide right. She tries to play in Hannah Blundell, who then pressures the defender into a mistake but Constance Picaud is able to gather first.

Excellent tackle by Ella Toone to put the ball out for a corner. It is a routine from the training ground as the ball is played to Korbin Albert on the edge of the area but her first time shot balloons high and wide.

A few glimpes of what United's press from the front can do in the last few minutes.

Lucia Garcia presses Clare Hunt and wins the ball for Leah Galton, who can't capitalise.

Hunt ends up falling into the pitch hoardings, which collapse, and she rolls into the stands. She's helped up by a security guard after gasps from the fans but she's OK.

They might want to sort out those hoardings though!

More errors in the PSG defence but this time Leah Galton is unable to capitalise.

The visitors have looked near invincible in attack but there's clear vulnerabilities in defence and that will give Manchester United encouragement.

Oh out of nothing Manchester United almost take the lead!

It comes from a poor pass back, which Lucía García intercepts but she is unable to round the goalkeeper.

Sandy Balitmore volleys wide as PSG come forward again.

The one real positive for the hosts so far is that they are level.

Brilliant bit of skill by Sandy Baltimore on the right side of the box to get away from her marker and she then hits a rasping effort that Mary Earps pushes away before Lieke Mertens heads just wide.

It is just attack versus defence.

Tabitha Chawinga is a real threat on the left and she almost gets past Maya Le Tissier but a heavy touch takes the ball out of play.

PSG are straight on the attack as a shot is deflected behind for a corner. The set piece is cleared by the Manchester United defence.

Not a nice sight as Oriane Jean-Francois is taken off on a stretcher by a group of medical staff.

She had her shirt pulled over her face as she went down the tunnel, clearly upset and in pain. Hopefully it's nothing too serious.
