You expect it to be 2-2 but Robert Sanchez gets down so quickly!

Great save!
This is end to end now!
City break and Bernardo Silva is found in space. His pass into the path of Erling Haaland gives the striker a goal to aim at, but his low drive is too close to the keeper, who dives brilliantly to parry.

Every time Man City get the ball, Chelsea are at them. I don't know how long they can maintain this.

Raheem Sterling fancies another.
He curls a shot from just inside the box past the far post.

Why does Gvardiol not just smash that away? Awful defending!

Chelsea have the bit between their teeth!
They're away again as Reece James bursts through to carry the ball to the edge of the box. Raheem Sterling is one good pass from being in on goal but the one that comes gives just enough for Kyle Walker to slide in and intercept.

Having seen it on the replay, I feel for Gvardiol. He ends up running past the ball and it comes off his heel.
Bitter goal for Man City to concede, but Chelsea took their chance.

I have mentioned that Cole Palmer position with Reece James going on the outside. Josko Gvardiol is all over the place and that is where it comes from initially.
Gvardiol has got to deal with that, how many times have we seen Raheem Sterling finish in a Man City shirt like that!
Chelsea 2-1 Man City
It took a little while to get going, but this is a lovely watch now.
Raheem Sterling
They've turned it around!
Raheem Sterling haunts his former club by darting to the far post to slot in from close range. But the goal is born out of a poor misjudgement from Josko Gvardiol in the box. The City defender allows Reece James to beat him to the ball and the full-back's ball into the middle is perfect.
What a response from the home side to going behind.

From where we're sitting, I thought that was in. What a talent Phil Foden is.

Jim: What about the tug on Cucurella's shirt by Haaland before Haaland gets tugged by Cucurella?
Anon: Another big game involving Manchester City and yet another very contentious decision goes their way. Getting a little boring now.
Anon: If you don't want to risk giving a penalty away, don't hold on to players or their shirts, it is simple. Doesn't matter if you think its harsh or not, its always a penalty.
Chelsea 1-1 Man City
This is turning into a really good game.
City drive forward again as Rodri wins a key tackle in midfield. He finds Phil Foden on the right for a shot with his left foot that curls just a few inches past the far post. Looked in.
Chelsea 1-1 Man City
Sidenetting!
This is brilliant from Phil Foden. He beats three men on the right before chipping a cross to the back post. It gives Erling Haaland just a bit too much to do, though, from a tight angle.

Cole Palmer blocks off Erling Haaland at the front post and a delicate header from Thiago Silva.
I said I thought it was harsh at the other end maybe that is fair enough for Chelsea to get back into the game so quickly.

It's a brilliant ball into the box! Ederson gets drawn to that near post and he doesn't have time to react.
Thiago Silva
They're level now!
From the corner resulting from Ederson's save, Thiago Silva darts to the near post to meet Conor Gallagher's delivery and glance a header across goal and inside the far post.
Cole Palmer does a good job to stand his ground and prevent Erling Haaland attacking the ball.
Now this game is cooking.
Chelsea 0-1 Man City
Great save!
Chelsea go close to levelling this up from a free-kick 25 yards from goal. Reece James hits it and hits it well towards the top corner of the goal. Ederson dives and tips over for a corner.

Chelsea fans are not happy and letting referee Anthony Taylor know what they think of him in graphic terms. Mauricio Pochettino also shaking his head but that was a penalty. Marc Cucurella looked to panic as the ball came in and grabbed at Erling Haaland with inevitable results.
