Antony seems far more effective defensively that attacking in this game!

    Dan, Forton

Don't understand why Liverpool persist with turning back inside when out when out wide. United know what's coming. Old fashioned quick cross across the 6 yard box is frowned upon these days.

So many people not looking at the real reason this is the biggest fixture. It’s not supposed to be about the best quality football. It’s the history of the cities and the teams, the two most successful clubs. It’s not about great football otherwise the best derby would change almost every year.

    Andy

I'm afraid Peter doesn't seem to know what a derby is about. Everton haven't won trophies in a long time, and yet their derby with Liverpool has been far better than the United/Liverpool. It's not just about the history between the clubs but about the intensity and excitement of the games. The North London derby is probably the Premier League best derby now. I can't remember the last boring game between Arsenal and Spurs.

Darwin Nunez is into the box after a Mohamed Salah throw. There's a slight deflection that takes it away for him but Luis Diaz is onto the loose ball, only to see it kept out by a last-ditch block.

    Corner for the hosts.

You can't hear it from here but I'm sure Johnny Evans is talking non-stop to his side here.

He'll be telling them to keep doing what they're doing, it's not very pretty but keep your concentration levels up.

It's very important to have experience like that in a game like today.

A narrow defeat to Bayern Munich last-time out and now holding Liverpool 0-0. It isn't, as Alex below points out, exciting but is a solid base Manchester United have needed to be able to build from.

We're into the final 15 minutes.
