When Burnley are settled defensively, they look alright.

But when they make mistakes in the wrong areas, that's when they put themselves under pressure.

Delusional if you think Mbappe would consider Liverpool.

    James

Ed@18:08 is correct. If Liverpool were half as good as some of their supporters believed then the rest wouldn't bother taking part. Without Klopp I'd genuinely worry about them.

There’s a young up and coming French striker called Kylian who’s contract expires at the end of the season. Maybe Liverpool should look into it…

    Oliver

Liverpool need at least 3 players in transfer window to counteract who will be missing. If they don't they will finish outside top 4

A Boxing Day classic. Liverpool look hungover and Burnley appear to still be full of gravy!

    Anon

Gakpo again frustrating tonight. Ignore's the simple ball far too often and tries to beat everyone by himself. Hope Jota is back soon.

On the disallowed goal, I personally didn't think there was a lot of contact, but once the decision is made it's not being changed. I've got no problems with it.

Liverpool have been so dominant, they can't really complain about this.

Jurgen won't be happy at HT that this game isn't put to bed. 8 shots on target and only made the keeper make 1 decent save.

Let's see how Liverpool do when players like Salah and Endo leave for the Afcon and Asian Cup in January.

    Jonnie

Liverpool being far too casual in front of goal. Not saying it will bite us v Burnley but we need to be more clinical.
