Burnley have learned from their earlier mistakes it seems. They have dropped deeper, have got closer together and have eight or nine men behind the ball.

Liverpool are leading and dominating the ball but are being asked to create.

Trent Alexander-Arnold does well to squeeze it into the feet of Darwin Nunez inside Burnley's area.

Nunez has nowhere to go though and lays it off to Harvey Elliott, who curls it straight into the arms of James Trafford.

Bournemouth

Bournemouth manager Andoni Iraola, speaking to Amazon Prime: "Yes, definitely [we had confidence] after we scored.

"Level game, it was not very open until we scored but then they had to push a little bit more, we could find more spaces and in the second half, we crated a lot of chances with good transitions and scored two more."

On Alex Scott's run to create the first goal: "It is good for us to have someone like Alex. He is more of a 10 or an eight than the six that he played today.

"But to have someone in the middle who can show this courage on the ball is great for the team."

On Dominic Solanke form: "I think he is playing with confidence. It's good that we scored from a penalty after two seasons or something like this!

"This things make a difference."

On Luis Sinisterra's goal: "An amazing goal. We have a lot of inverted wingers and a lot of them try to find this situation. Today, Sini had the chance and he finished it amazingly so I'm happy for him."

On Spurs up next: "They are playing very well. They are a very good team.

"The first game against them I think we played really well but we lost 2-0. I hope we can improve on that."

Sander Berge is beaten by Ryan Gravenberch in the middle and shows his frustration with a shirt pull to give away a free-kick.

Bournemouth

On Luis Sinisterra’s goal: "It’s his first goal for us, very good performance. It’s good to add goals from different players."

On watching from the stands: "It was not bad because we didn’t suffer as much in the second half. I had to control it. I will try to have better behaviour, and not have more yellow cards because I prefer the other experience."

On Bournemouth's form: "There are a lot of small things that are clicking. We know each other much better. Everyone is pushing. There is strong competition for minutes. It’s becoming tough for me to make the starting elevens, but it’s good for the team."

On Dominic Solanke: “He is giving us a lot of things. He is giving us a lot of play, a lot of good play for his team-mates, he is doing well without the ball. We are really happy for him."

Harvey Elliott's shot is deflected in the box and almost falls for Cody Gakpo.

He can't get there ahead of goalkeeper James Trafford and Joe Gomez is then beaten to the loose clearance.

An unfortunate slip for Lyle Foster, who was carrying it towards the box with numbers to his left and right but the chance goes begging.
