    Well, as you can see on the back page of today's Mail there, Yorkshire cricket club have agreed to sell their Headingley home to the former Newcastle owner, external for £23m, with Ashley securing a 10-year naming rights deal for the stadium.

  4. 'Everton trying to renegotiate Dele deal'published at 07:28 Greenwich Mean Time 3 November 2023

    The Star also provides an update on Dele Alli, saying that Everton are in talks with his former club Tottenham over an appearance clause in the contract that took the former England midfielder to Goodison Park in January 2022.

    Dele last played for the Toffees in August 2022 before going on loan to Besiktas but, as it stands, Everton will have to pay Spurs £10m when Dele reaches 20 games for the club.

    Given Everton's financial situation, they are trying to renegotiate that clause with Spurs,, external so that the 27-year-old can resume his career.
