What a superb counter from Arsenal!
They broke so quickly but the key this half is that they have been acting with quality.
It's great movement from Foord and the finish is sublime. She puts it into the top corner, caresses the ball past Leitzig who had absolutely no chance!

It's human nature sometimes to sit back and defend a lead, so it will be interesting to see how Leicester approach this second half. They seem to be intent to press Arsenal high though as Missy Goodwin has a shot charged down.

The half time score is absolutely a fair reflection of how that first half panned out.
This Leicester side want it more, they want to win every challenge, they've gotten very high up the pitch and put this Arsenal side under intense pressure.
Arsenal look rattled, they just cannot seem to cope with the intensity of Leicester. The tempo is slow, there is no movement, Russo is dropping deep and there is no one there for her to pick out.
Jonas Eidevall ran straight into the dressing room on the whistle, he will have plenty to say and will no doubt be making some changes at the break.

A reminder that Arsenal had won their previous two away WSL games against Leicester both by at least a four-goal margin, winning 5-0 in 2021-22 and 4-0 last season.

It's just not clicking for Arsenal.
They seem to be second to every 50-50 ball, they are on the back foot and slow to react to situations.
Leicester are full of energy, positive and are taking the game to them at the moment.
