They go forwards and Fran Kirby has the ball inside the area. The hosts try to pass the ball around and work an opening to a chorus of shouts of 'shoot' but they can't get a shot away.

It's a great run from Sophie Ingle, starts at the back post and runs across the box and into the front post.

She just guides the ball into the far corner. The defender just let her run free there and she took full advantage.

Five minutes are added on at the end of the second half.

Louise Fleury is the latest to try her luck, but her effort from range is straight into the hands of Ann-Katrin Berger.

Paris FC aren't letting their hopes die just yet.

Clara Mateo tries to skip through the Chelsea defence and goes down on the edge of the box as if she was tripped, but the referee doesn't agree.

After watching Real Madrid-Chelsea last week and Paris beat Arsenal and Wolfsburg (in the qualifiers) I actually fancied Paris FC to be the team to create an upset.

But perhaps after the earlier result for Hacken it is them who are the team to watch out for.

Argh. Fran Kirby spins inside the Paris FC box and tries to set up Mia Fishel but the Chelsea striker gets her foot caught and can't get a shot away.

Chelsea are into the game management side of things now.

Near 85 minutes played, Paris FC are keen to get forward as quickly as possible and Chelsea just need to take their time on the ball now.

When your goalkeeper has it just take a few extra moments before putting the ball back in play again, slow down when the ball goes out for a throw in etcetera.

Ann-Katrin Berger goes down clutching her back after jumping to stop Louise Fleury getting to a cross but immediately gets up to continue playing.

Maren Mjelde is introduced for Chelsea, replacing Kadeisha Buchanan.

Paris FC look to play through the lines but an excellent interception from Niamh Charles stops their first chance before Kadeisha Buchanan times a sliding tackle to perfection to recover the ball.

Two more changes for the visitors.

Celina Ould Hocine and Kessy Bussy replace Julie Dufour and Teninsoun Sissoko.

There have been big moments in both boxes at each end of the pitch and Chelsea have made the most of theirs and Paris FC haven't.

The combination of Sam Kerr and Fran Kirby, Chelsea just have more quality and have been more clinical than Paris FC.

To be able to call on such a pairing is a frightening prospect for any opposition.

Paris FC can't make anything of the resulting corner after the Chelsea defence press quickly to close down the visitors' forwards.

Fran Kirby is always so positive on the ball.

She always wants to play forward first and can pick out passes that other players just can't see. She is always a difference maker for Chelsea.

Kadeisha Buchanan finds Fran Kirby on the edge of the area but she's facing away from the goal and Paris FC manage to close her down before Chelsea can create a chance.

What a game Sam Kerr has had.

She could have had more than just three goals tonight, but she walks away with the hat-trick.

She has just been clinical, beautifully assisted a number of times but she was in the right place at the right time and got her goals.

A long season ahead, lots of games coming up so to take off her and Lauren James at this point is a sensible decision.
