    Chelsea 3-1 Paris FC

Chelsea's fortunes have been entirely different in this half.

They continue to ramp up the pressure and earn themselves a corner as Niamh Charles has a cross turned behind.

There's nothing wrong with direct football. People argue that it isn't pretty but one direct ball from Berger to Kerr has just given Chelsea cushion in this game.

Nnadozie has no idea where she is in goal to save it, and you've got a player like Kerr up front who has been there and done it, and just lifts the ball into the net.

Sam Kerr does it again! She loves the big moments.

That's her hat-trick and for a moment, fans inside Stamford Bridge though she might unleash her trademark backflip.

Instead, she went for the knee slide, laughing it off with team-mate Erin Cuthbert afterwards, before grabbing the Chelsea badge on her shirt and showing it to the crowd.

    Hat-trick!

What a finsh from Sam Kerr. The Chelsea striker is unleashed around 30 yards from goal and begins to race forwards.

She goes wide as she's being closed down by two Paris FC defenders but Kerr directs an expert chip over the head of Chiamaka Nnadozie and Chelsea have a two-goal advantage.

Paris FC try to go forwards this time, but they can't find the space on either wing and a speculative cross is caught by Ann-Katrin Berger.

Instant impact from Fran Kirby as it was her pass which split open the defence and played Johanna Rytting Kaneryd in.

She's already starting to organise her team-mates as well. Chelsea have still been sloppy in moments and I've spotted Kirby pointing and instructing them on how to beat the press.

It's a big reaction from Chelsea.

Could have been a different scenario had Ann-Katrin Berger not made that huge save a few moments ago.

The difference in the attack is the positivity from Fran Kirby - she picks the ball up and plays it at such a pace out wide that Johanna Rytting Kaneryd has to be positive and go forward.

Kerr pops up on the back of the defender as she always does and Chelsea are back in the lead.

    Chelsea regain the lead!

A team goal from Chelsea, with Fran Kirby switching the ball towards Johanna Rytting Kaneryd.

The winger curls it across the face of goal and, just like for her first of the evening, Sam Kerr is in the right place at the right time to tap home at the back post.

Daniel: Too cautious from Chelsea, they need to up the tempo. They are hitting a brick wall when playing through midfield. They have enough quality, and any run behind the defence will trouble Paris. Stretch them, make them work, and let the likes of James exploit the space.

What an important save from Ann-Katrin Berger.

Mathilde Bourdieu is through on goal for Paris FC after an excellent bit of footwork, but the Chelsea goalkeeper is on hand to beat away her effort.

I am a huge Fran Kirby fan anyway but I think she would ignite some energy and creativity in this game for Chelsea.

The game has been crying out for a Kirby-type player.

Daniel: Hope the Blues win the women's CL this year. They deserve it, none more so than Emma Hayes. She's done so much for the women's game in this country. What a send-off it would be for her. A true legend, I'm sure we all wish her luck with her new role in America. Thank you, EH!

It will be an adjustment for Emma Hayes to go from club management to managing an international team for sure.

However you do have your ways of working, whether at club or international level, and they don't neccesarily fundamentally change, but the ways in which you apply them do.

Emma is the master of setting and keeping standards, making sure the fine details are taken care of - that won't change.

A player like Lauren James who has the ability to create something out of nothing is huge for Chelsea.

On the chance she had you would normally bank on her every time to score. She missed it but then came up trumps with the assist for the goal, a sublime pass for Sam Kerr to have the easiest of finishes.

Chelsea need her to get more into the game as it goes on because she is such an important player for them.
