Chelsea 0-0 Newcastle
I think it's fair to say this trophy is the best chance either have of winning a trophy this season.
Chelsea win a corner.

Chelsea 0-0 Newcastle
I think it's fair to say this trophy is the best chance either have of winning a trophy this season.
Chelsea win a corner.
Everton 0-0 Fulham
Idrissa Gana Gueye has a shot blocked by Harrison Reed and this is a good spell for the hosts.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin then has a goalbound effort deflected behind for a corner.
Everton 0-0 Fulham
Better from Everton. Dwight McNeil gets on the end of Dominic Calvert-Lewin's set-up, but McNeil can only send the effort well over the top from a tight angle.
Chelsea 0-0 Newcastle
Anthony Gordon gets in a good position to receive a cross but gets his first touch all wrong and Chelsea clear.
Everton 0-0 Fulham
No shots from either side and not even a corner in the opening 20 minutes.

People who say that the game would be better without VAR please look at that disgraceful challenge from Caicedo on Gordon. If they had VAR in this match he would've been justifiably sent off.
Allan Fiddes, Newcastle
Morgan Rogers (23 mins)
Middlesbrough are in dreamland!
This is a brilliant team goal as Sam Silvera pulls the ball back to Morgan Rogers on the edge of the box, and the Boro man passes the ball first time into the corner.
The Championship side look a level above their League One opponents when they go forward.

When that ball came to Conor Gallagher he had three Newcastle players shutting him down - it was inches from being perfect.
Nicolas Jackson is also looking to get in behind at every opportunity a willing runner.
Chelsea 0-0 Newcastle
So close! The resulting corner finds its way to Conor Gallagher just outside the box and he lifts his shot onto the top of the crossbar.
Port Vale 0-1 Middlesbrough

When I was sat here this afternoon discussing this evening's prospects with a Port Vale fan and he looked at the name Jonny Howson, he said "Blimey, is he still playing? He must be at least 40!"
Well, actually, when we looked him up, we found out Jonny is only 35, he's still only had three clubs - and he's the youngest looking 35-year-old you're ever likely to clap eyes on.
And that sublime strike to put Boro 1-0 up and totally silence the home fans was the 59th goal of his career - on his 710th appearance. Ageless!
Chelsea 0-0 Newcastle
All the stepovers in the world from Chelsea striker Nicolas Jackson before having a shot blocked by the returning Sven Botman. Was an impossible angle anyway really.
Port Vale 0-1 Middlesbrough
Middlesbrough haven't got out of their own half since scoring. Port Vale have a flurry of corners, but Alfie Devine's deliveries are easily cleared away.
Everton 0-0 Fulham
Dwight McNeil sends in a good delivery into the penalty area, but Fulham's Bernd Leno produces some dominant goalkeeping to gather the ball before Dominic Calvert-Lewin can get there.

I bet Eddie Howe was thinking 'not again' when Anthony Gordon went down, luckily Gordon is up but he is running very gingerly.
Chelsea 0-0 Newcastle
First chance is Newcastle's. Anthony Gordon is picked out in space near the corner of the box but his shot is blocked by Axel Disasi.
Port Vale 0-1 Middlesbrough
How will League One Port Vale respond?
Oliver Arblaster races forward for them and goes down in the area. Penalty?
Nope, he's clearly slipped and referee Michael Salisbury is happy to wave play on. But a warning sign for Boro.
Chelsea 0-0 Newcastle
Chelsea midfielder Moises Caicedo picks up a booking with less than two minutes on the clock for a bad challenge on Anthony Gordon from behind.
It was his studs on the back of Gordon's legs. Could have been sent off there to be honest.
Everton 0-0 Fulham
Everton's Idrissa Gana Gueye sends in a dangerous low cross from the right wing, but Tosin Adarabioyo does well to hack it to safety at the near post.
Chelsea 0-0 Newcastle
Early offside flag goes up against Nicolas Jackson. His days as Chelsea's starting striker may be numbered with Christopher Nkunku in the mix now.
