Well, well, well.

United have been completely second-best, but maybe they've got a chance to fight their way back into the game.

It's all about game management for Chelsea now. United are working hard to try and build on their momentum - will they be able to?

There's a decent crowd in Stamford Bridge today, but not much of an atmosphere. The home fans were very comfortable, as were their team.

That United goal has added a bit of spice to proceedings, however.

That is the sort of impact we were asking for at the start of the game from Geyse.

Her run down the right, nice little nutmeg on Charles to get into the box. A good block from Buchanan from the first shot but Ladd is on hand to finish off at the second attempt.

No one expected them to get a goal back before the half but they are back in it now.

Chelsea are their own worst enemies here. Kadeisha Buchanan is the latest Blues player to give the ball away in a dangerous area with a poor pass.

United cannot take advantage however, as Hayley Ladd shoots straight at Hannah Hampton.

That combination of Kaneryd and James has far too easily got in down that right hand side for Chelsea.

Every time they work the ball into that area, it is just overloading the United left back Blundell. Zelem or Galton may need to help her out because she is overloaded at the moment.

Man Utd do something!

Geyse does well to capitalise on a poor clearance by Nathalie Bjorn, she gets away down the right and fires a shot across goal which Hannah Hampton has to parry away, diving to her right.

United's corner - their first of the game - is cleared.

Ashley Lawrence is penalised for a foul throw.

She would be subbed immediately in Sunday league.

The only way I see Manchester United scoring is if Chelsea make a mistake and give possession to them.

They haven't looked like troubling this Chelsea back line in any way so far, whether in behind, in between the lines, shots from distance. They just haven't been able to do it.

We have a brief stoppage as United captain Katie Zelem gets treatment for a bang to the head.

She is seen having a very animated discussion with her manager Marc Skinner before being allowed back on. It is not a happy camp, by the looks of things.

Going over the top of the Chelsea defence may be a good option for Manchester United.

If they can't get the ball to feet for the likes of Lucia Garcia, they can go long and look to get in at Chelsea that way.

Should be three!

Melanie Leupolz is the latest Chelsea player to have way too much space on the wings, her deep cross is excellent and Niamh Charles can ghost in unmarked down the left.

The Chelsea captain meets her volley six yards out, but can only find the side netting.

Karl: Marc Skinner is so out of his depth as a United manager. We haven’t improved at all, not playing our best players which has resulted in some of them leaving. Get someone new in.

Hannah Blundell advances from left back, but she gets her cross wrong and it is a comfortable high catch for Hannah Hampton.

That was the first time Hampton has been called into action for Chelsea today, which says it all.

Chelsea are completely running away with this.

United have been second-best by a long way. They've lacked Chelsea's intensity and Emma Hayes' side are comfortably displaying their superiority.

United will be 10 points off the top if it stays like this and surely out of the title race. They've got a lot of work to do if they're to stop that happening.
