  1. GREAT SAVE!published at 12:58 Greenwich Mean Time 28 January

    Everton 0-0 Leicester

This is a good little game.

Everton fail to clear a cross and Jutta Rantala snatches the ball away for the visitors.

One touch sets her up for a left-footed effort but it is well saved low down by Courtney Brosnan.

  2. 'A glaring miss, criminal defending'published at 12:56 Greenwich Mean Time 28 January

    Everton 0-0 Leicester

    Rachel Brown-Finnis
Ex-England goalkeeper on BBC Red Button

Emma Bissell knows that this is a glaring miss, she has to go across the goalkeeper there. Her first touch was careless, took her unnecessarily wide, and closed down the area that she had to shoot at.

The defending was criminal from Leicester, to allow Bissell to have so much space down that left hand side.

Everton are growing into this game.

They build another attack that ends with Emma Bissell firing wide of the near post.

She should probably across goal really but it's better from the hosts.

  4. 'The cross from Payne was impossible to defend'published at 12:54 Greenwich Mean Time 28 January

    Everton 0-0 Leicester

    Rachel Brown-Finnis
Ex-England goalkeeper on BBC Red Button

    Heather PayneImage source, Getty Images

That cross from Heather Payne was one of those that is impossible to defend. As I said, just phenomenal.

Leicester's keeper Lize Kop had no chance to affect the ball, so she had to do all she could to put off Katja Snoejis, and she just about did.

  5. Postpublished at 12:54 Greenwich Mean Time 28 January

    Everton 0-0 Leicester

Leicester goalkeeper Lize Kop is done absolutely no favours by Courtney Nevin.

The left-back fizzes a looping pass back to her keeper, who has to chest it and clear for a throw-in.

  6. 'Great half from Man Utd'published at 12:53 Greenwich Mean Time 28 January

HT: Man Utd 2-0 Aston Villa

    Lindsay Johnson
Ex-England defender on BBC Radio 5 Sports Extra

Great half from Man Utd. The front three have all been involved, obviously it’s been Parris who got the goals. On top of that you’ve got Toone joining in and Naalsund is having a good game as well. Villa can’t get hold of the ball in the attacking third and that’s been a real problem for them.

  7. 'That attack had everything but the net rippling'published at 12:51 Greenwich Mean Time 28 January

    Everton 0-0 Leicester

    Rachel Brown-Finnis
Ex-England goalkeeper on BBC Red Button

    It was a wonderful break.

The ball was snatched by Megan Finnigan, Heather Payne broke down the right and puts a phenomenal ball into the box. She cuts out about five Leicester defenders with it.

Katja Snoejis was so unfortunate to see her finish hit the crossbar. The goal had everything but the net rippling.

  8. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 12:50 Greenwich Mean Time 28 January

    Everton 0-0 Leicester

This is absolutely brilliant from Everton right-back Heather Payne.

She powers down the right and then sends a superb cross to the back post.

It's met by Katja Snoeijs, who turns goalwards with the outside of her right foot, but it clips the top of the bar.

Snoeijs has been clattered and needs treatment too.

  9. HALF-TIMEpublished at 12:49 Greenwich Mean Time 28 January

    Man Utd 2-0 Aston Villa

Manchester United are two goals to the good at the break.

  10. 'Daly having to come deep'published at 12:47 Greenwich Mean Time 28 January

    Man Utd 2-0 Aston Villa

    Lindsay Johnson
Ex-England defender on BBC Radio 5 Sports Extra

Daly is having to come very deep to get the ball so when Villa do get possession they don’t have anyone in behind. Leon has put a couple of testing crosses in but Man Utd have been able to deal with it. They have threats from set-pieces.

  11. GREAT SAVE!published at 12:46 Greenwich Mean Time 28 January

    Everton 0-0 Leicester

The closest we've come to the opener.

A Leicester cross the left is only half-cleared and falls to Jutta Rantala around the penalty spot.

She hooks towards and it looks like it is destined for the roof of the net but Courtney Brosnan gets across to keep it out.

The fourth official's board indicated three additional minutes at the end of the first half.

    Mary EarpsImage source, Getty Images

Alisha Lehmann wins possession for Aston Villa and looks to be one-on-one, but Mary Earps runs out to clear.

That's the first time Earps has really had to leave her line.

  14. 'Excellent pressing from Everton's front line'published at 12:45 Greenwich Mean Time 28 January

    Everton 0-0 Leicester

    Rachel Brown-Finnis
Ex-England goalkeeper on BBC Red Button

Excellent pressing from the Everton front line.

That is what you want from your forwards, you want them to be aggressive, intense, not let the opposing defenders have time to turn on the ball and play out.

  15. YELLOW CARDpublished at 12:44 Greenwich Mean Time 28 January

    Everton 0-0 Leicester

Leicester right-back Josie Green is the first player in the book.

She miscontrols a pass and then pulls back Kathrine Kuhl as the on-loan Everton midfielder intercepts.

The resulting set piece is met by Elise Stenevik but she heads over the bar.

  16. 'Geyse so good at rolling the defender'published at 12:43 Greenwich Mean Time 28 January

    Man Utd 2-0 Aston Villa

    Lindsay Johnson
Ex-England defender on BBC Radio 5 Sports Extra

    GeyseImage source, Getty Images

Geyse is so good at rolling the defender. She puts a cross in to that area for Toone but she just couldn’t get it on target.

  17. Postpublished at 12:43 Greenwich Mean Time 28 January

    Everton 0-0 Leicester

Leicester put a free-kick into the box and they get the first contact but Everton scramble it clear.

It's been a decent start but no clear-cut chances yet.

  18. Postpublished at 12:42 Greenwich Mean Time 28 January

    Man Utd 2-0 Aston Villa

Jayde Riviere takes a quick throw-in, finding Geyse.

Her shot is sent behind by Daphne van Domselaar and the hosts win a corner.

  19. Postpublished at 12:40 Greenwich Mean Time 28 January

    Man Utd 2-0 Aston Villa

    Big clearance!

Geyse beats her marker at the byline before chopping the ball back to Ella Toone, but a Villa defender gets back to head away her spinning effort.

  20. Postpublished at 12:40 Greenwich Mean Time 28 January

    Man Utd 2-0 Aston Villa

Aston Villa attempted the game's first shot in the third minute, but we're now in the 40th and they haven't had another since.

    It's been all Manchester United.
