And what would you do instead, Nick of Kent? Play the kids? That’ll get Palace relegated in double quick time. Just have to accept the board and chairman are fixated on the ground and caring very little about the playing side of things.

An appalling two minutes for Palace. The game is pretty much over after that third goal. Adam Wharton is dispossessed and Gross tees up Buonanotte who scores easily. The home supporters are bouncing.

Jordan Clark has options to his left but he rushes things and passes it straight to Kieran Trippier.

Luton come straight back at Newcastle though, and Fabian Schar concedes a corner - the visitors' first of the match.

There's not been much attacking threat from Burnley since Fulham got their second but Vitinho cuts in from the left before letting fly, but his shot goes well over.

I'm sorry but Hodgson needs to go now. He is 74 years old and should be enjoying retirement. Lazy management by Steve Parish to have him as manager for this season when there were better options elsewhere. Trouble with Parish is that he likes yes men. He owns 5% of the club but he likes to think he is the top man.

Good stuff from Elijah Adebayo and Jordan Clark, who play a quick one-two but can't finish it off with Kieran Trippier using his strength well to hold off Adebayo.

So close again from Newcastle! They break down the right with Jacob Murphy, it's pulled back towards Anthony Gordon but Teden Mengi's block is a very important one.

    Facundo Buonanotte (34 mins)

Crystal Palace are defending like Brighton did against Luton!

The visitors are caught in possession inside their own half and Brighton work the ball to the edge of the box before Facundo Buonanotte bends home to make it 3-0.

Bruno Guimaraes almost controls a pass from Jacob Murphy in the box but loses his footing and runs into Teden Mengi.

He's down for a few seconds afterwards in pain but he's quickly up on his feet again.

It is Brighton asking all the questions with Crystal Palace lacking a creative spark. Pascal Gross plays a decent ball into the box but it is headed away.

You expect games to fall into a pattern and this hasn't really fallen into a pattern.

Watching Bruno Guimaraes and Barkley against each other in the middle, they just give each other space.

It is just all Fulham now with Burnley looking really deflated. Willian has the ball inside the box but his effort is blocked.

Luton are too open when Newcastle have the ball and that's what Rob Edwards is screaming at his players for.

Bruno Guimaraes is able to carry it a long way but his throughball is too heavy and rolls out for a goal kick.

Roy Hodgson once again playing the most negative team possible, changing it all up once more and having us losing within a few minutes, with little hope of scoring ourselves. He has to go immediately.
