Vicario is not "woeful on corners", the opposition just foul him. Needs more protection from Romero, or the ref!

Premier League say Everton's goal has now been credited to Jack Harrison instead of Dominic Calvert-Lewin.

Since the start of December, Richarlison has scored more Premier League goals than any other player (9).

Barnaby: There‘s plenty of time for an Everton comeback. Vicario is woeful at corners and I predict more in the next 45. Let’s see where this goes.
Dan: There'll be more goals in this. When the ball goes anywhere near Vicario he looks flappier than Onana.
Chris: Everton need to keep the intensity high, and keep mixing it up. Spurs are so open and take so many risks that there will be many more chances for the Toffees.

I can't believe Spurs weren't expecting these corners from Everton after City. And how they've not adapted. Surely a defender needs to stand in between Vicario and Harrison and protect the keeper.

We have talked a lot this season about Everton's togetherness and they have shown it again today. They haven't let Spurs affect their performance.
They have stuck to their plan and caused problems and I don't think we have seen the last of them this game.
They stayed relentless and I think they will continue that in the second half.

Richarlison's double against his former club gives Tottenham a narrow lead.
Everton will feel hard done by because they created a lot of chances and tested goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario.

Harrison has no interest in the ball, only fouling the keeper. Compare the goal Man City had disallowed against Liverpool with DCL’s goal, why is this now allowed? Or is there one rule for Liverpool and another for everyone else?

Vicario has made a really good save but Everton are really targeting him on these corners.
It is a real weakness that they have identified. Vicario can't deal with Jack Harrison in front of him.
What I used to do is put a defender between me and the attacker because you can push your own players and move them about. As soon as you do that to an opponent you run the risk of a penalty.
Vicario has had a difficult afternoon and it has not been comfortable for him. They are putting every ball on top of him.

Ben Godfrey crosses it in from the right, James Garner has committed a foul and the whistle goes for a shove in the box but Vitalii Mykolenko hits it on the volley at the same time and Guglielmo Vicario pulls off a decent save.

Ricky: Richardson is so good we should give Everton an extra £20mil
Anon: Harry who?
Adam: Richarlison really went from the Premier League’s most off-form player to the most on-form in just a couple of weeks. Not a fan of him or Spurs but that second goal was quite something.
Everton 1-2 Tottenham
James Garner has another corner. It's curled in, Guglielmo flaps at it and Jarrad Branthwaite ends up swiping at James Maddison rather than the ball on the rebound.
Everton 1-2 Tottenham
James Garner's corner causes more problems for Guglielmo Vicario, who just can't handle players being around him.
Ben Godfrey heads it towards him and Vicario does really well in the end to block it with his feet and poke it clear before Jack Harrison gets the rebound.

Javel: That wasn't even in the corner but Pickford was a mile away on a ball-&-chain!
Greg: Poor positioning and footwork from Pickford for that goal.
Everton 1-2 Tottenham
Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg hooks a good ball over to Timo Werner but the bounce is awkward for him to control it.
It's end-to-end as Dominic Calvert-Lewin then almost gets a shot off but Pedro Porro takes it off him just in time.
Idrissa Gueye eventually drags an effort wide of the left post.

Richarlison is starting to look like a Brazilian footballer

That's silenced the crowd again, Everton haven't really deserved that and it will hurt even more with it being their former man Richarlison.
The Brazilian doesn't celebrate again, instead hiding inside his shirt.
