Vincent Kompany's side have scored seven of their 24 top-flight goals from outside the penalty area this season, a league-high ratio of 29%.

Kompany was without a win in eight visits to Anfield as a Manchester City player (D3, L5), although he did score in a 1-1 draw there in 2011.

Dominic Solanke has scored in each of his last five league appearances against Fulham.

The only team he has netted against more often is Huddersfield Town, with six goals.

He has 13 Premier League goals this season, a total exceeded by only Erling Haaland and Mohamed Salah.

  3. 'Erling Haaland showed the real quality he has'published at 14:43 Greenwich Mean Time 10 February

    FT: Man City 2-0 Everton

    Anita Asante
Former England defender on Final Score

Erling Haaland, what a return for him. Two unbelievable goals, he showed the real quality that he has. He just came back in with such drive and energy and that first goal, a bullet finish, just set Man City on their way.

At this stage of the season we know City have that ability to go on these long winning streaks, their home is a fortress and with all of their weapons on the pitch and firing they are going to be hard to stop.

  4. 'We are giving ourselves a chance'published at 14:43 Greenwich Mean Time 10 February

Luton Town v Sheffield United (15:00 GMT)

    Luton Town

Luton boss Rob Edwards speaking to BBC Football Focus: "We're enjoying ourselves at the minute, we really are. We said from the first moment that we wanted to enjoy every single minute of being in the Premier League, life is about enjoying what you do.

"Our fans have been through a lot but we are certainly giving it everything we can and enjoying some results as well as the good performances. We are well aware that this league and especially this level can kick you right back down at any moment, so we need to keep our foot down and keep giving everything right until the last moment of every single game. We are giving ourselves a chance."

  5. Spurs squad looking healthypublished at 14:42 Greenwich Mean Time 10 February

    Tottenham v Brighton (15:00 GMT)

    Chris Wise
Final Score commentator at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium

This is the healthiest Spurs squad that Ange Postecoglou has had to choose from for some time. It’d had been impossible for him to leave out both Son Heung-min and Yves Bissouma a couple of months ago.

The 4-2 defeat at Brighton back in December came when Tottenham were - as one former Spurs manager might have put it - ‘down to the bare bones’. They’ll fancy another crack at the Seagulls today with their strongest players available.

  6. 'In this form I just can't see past Man City for the title'published at 14:41 Greenwich Mean Time 10 February

    FT: Man City 2-0 Everton

    Glenn Murray
Former Brighton striker on Final Score

This is work mode for City, they slip into their groove. There are trophies at stake now and Man City are ticking into their rhythm.

I think it is brilliant that we have a three horse race and it is a genuine race, but for me Man City have run this course before. Seen it, done it, got the t-shirt and I just can't see past them in this form.

Ross Barkley is in line to make his 250th Premier League appearance - he has three goals and three assists in his last eight games.

  8. 'Liverpool need to learn from mistakes made at Arsenal'published at 14:39 Greenwich Mean Time 10 February

    Liverpool v Burnley (15:00 GMT)

    Anita Asante
Former England defender on Football Focus

For Liverpool it is about showing character and learning from the mistakes that they made in the defeat to Arsenal.

The goals they gave away came from mistakes and allowed Arsenal to capitalise in key moments of the game. You have to give credit to Arsenal, who were superb from back to front, very solid defensively.

Now Liverpool and Arsenal have played each other twice it is going to be down to their fixtures against Man City as to where the title ends up.

  9. A classic mid-table battlepublished at 14:38 Greenwich Mean Time 10 February

    Fulham v Bournemouth (15:00 GMT)

On-loan Chelsea striker Armando Broja is on the bench for Fulham today, still waiting for his home debut.

His only goal in 14 league appearances this season came in Chelsea's 2-0 win at Craven Cottage on 2 October.

Fulham take on Bournemouth, who sit 12th in the table, just one point above Fulham.

The two have faced each other a lot in recent years but Bournemouth have generally come out on top.

Fulham's only victory in the past 13 league meetings was by 1-0 at the Vitality Stadium in April 2019.

Bournemouth are unbeaten in eight league matches away to the Cottagers (W4, D4) since losing 2-0 in the third tier in April 1992.

When Burnley won at Anfield in 2021, there were no fans present due to the coronavirus pandemic. Three years on and Anfield is preparing for a club record league attendance. The current record is 58,757 against Chelsea in 1949 but, with the upper tier of the redeveloped Anfield Road stand fully open for the first time, they are expecting 60,000 today.

  11. De Zerbi not at Tottenham Hotspur Stadiumpublished at 14:34 Greenwich Mean Time 10 February

    Tottenham v Brighton (15:00 GMT)

    Chris Wise
Final Score commentator at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium

Roberto De Zerbi isn’t going to be at the game today.

The Brighton manager travelled back to Italy for dental surgery this week. He’d have only been able to watch from the stands at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this afternoon regardless as he’s serving a one-match touchline ban.

Is amazing how people can crown Man City when they are one point clear with many games to go. I think the top 3 all still have an excellent chance

    Trence

The title is equally in Liverpool hands as it is in City’s. Win their remaining games and they are champions.

    Sam, London

Why so angry Andy (14.21). No one is "blaming" City for being top of the league, it's the inevitability that they will go on another great run and win the league again that people are talking about.
