My first reaction to seeing the blue card pilot was why not? It works in Rugby and Hockey. Then I see the arguments from top managers like Ange, Eddie and Jurgen and I can see that it is the wrong time to do this. By all means try a pilot with say 5th tier perhaps in a couple of seasons but after proper consultation and sorting out VAR.

Indirect free kick for handball in the box except when denying a goal scoring chance. Will do away with all the arguments and soft undeserved penalties.

There needs to be more retrospective action for a player if they're caught diving, maybe introduce some sort of award that can be paraded before the game, the "Fallon d'floor" that'll stop it...hopefully... -

Manchester City make four changes from the side that beat Brentford on Monday.

John Stones and Manuel Akanji replace Kyle Walker and Josko Gvardiol at the back and, in midfield, Matheus Nunes and Jeremy Doku come in for Kevin de Bruyne and Bernardo Silva.

Those four players drop to the bench, where they are joined by Jack Grealish, an unused substitute in three of City’s past four games.

Man City XI: Ederson, Stones, Dias, Akanji, Ake, Rodri, Nunes, Doku, Alvarez, Foden, Haaland

Subs: Ortega, Walker, Grealish, De Bruyne, Silva, Gvardiol, Bobb, Wright, Lewis.

Everton name the same team that managed a last-gasp equaliser in their 2-2 draw with Tottenham last weekend.

Former City midfielder Jack Harrison, who scored against Spurs and also put the Toffees ahead when they gave City a scare at Goodison Park in December, keeps his place in attack behind Dominic Calvert-Lewin, who is looking to end his run of 17 games without a goal.

Midfielder Amadou Onana is on the bench after missing two matches with a knee injury

Everton XI: Pickford, Godfrey, Tarkowski, Branthwaite, Mykolenko, Young, Gueye, Garner, McNeil, Harrison, Calvert-Lewin.

Subs: Joao Virginia, Patterson, Keane, Onana, Beto, Coleman, Chermiti, Hunt, Dobbin.

There's been plenty of discussion around the introduction of blue cards and sin-bins, with some managers saying it would "destroy" the game.

Football's lawmakers Ifab delayed plans to release information about four proposed trials after talks with world governing body Fifa.

So... What laws would you like to see introduced in the Premier League?

Anything from an extra point being awarded for a hat-trick, penalties to be taken from the halfway line with an open goal or one-armed throw-ins. Send in your ideas!

Manchester City can move to the top of the table again for at least a few hours. It would be the first time since 24 November.

Liverpool take on Burnley at Anfield at 15:00 GMT but City could be top by a point if they beat Everton at Etihad Stadium.

Everton, meanwhile, are in the relegation zone and a point away from safety.
