Should be 1-0 what a chance!

A really unconvincing finish from Vinicius. He didn't have the power, but it was a super pass from Lucas Paqueta.

England defender Kyle Walker is down getting treatment. Did he hurt himself with that Vinicius chance a minute earlier?

    Well done Kyle Walker.

Vinicius Jr races onto a long ball over the top and Jordan Pickford doesn't know whether to come or go.

Vinicius just nudges the ball around him but Walker is there to clear before it reaches the line.

Brazil just don't feel as fearsome as years gone by. You'd be terrified of facing them back in the day. Now, not so much.

Re. David at 18.55. Are you kidding me? Southgate gets abuse when we don't win in a good enough fashion, which has meant the result is now always important. So no, he can't throw in a kid on debut against Brazil & ah well what will be will be due to the backlash caused by over demanding England fans. Who are probably moaning already.

First chance of the game is to Brazil. Everyone backs off Real Madrid forward Rodrygo, whose 20-yard strike is held by Jordan Pickford.

Jude Bellingham has started this game very high so far. He's stayed close to Ollie Watkins. It's similar to the role he has at Real Madrid and Gareth Southgate has referenced how much further forward he's played since moving there.

I am not looking at anyone leading the line for Brazil.

A lot of the times John Stones and Harry Maguire have no player to mark which makes it harder as a centre-back knowing where to stand.

Can't help but think a win tonight would have a 'meh' effect considering Brazil are a team in a massive transition period.

England's Phil Foden swings in a free-kick from the right-hand side which curls just wide of the far post. It wasn't a shot but it could have gone in.

Looking at the match-up between Vinicius and Kyle Walker. We have seen it a few times before, but I think it's mouth-watering.

Already a couple of good battles, one involving former West Ham team-mates Declan Rice and Lucas Paqueta.
