    "We asked for that and they reacted very well," he tells BBC Scotland. "They showed a real energy and got back into the game with a fantastic goal from young Cammy Bruce."

    Davidson also praised debutant Sean Welsh for his winner on the midfielder's debut since moving from Inverness.

    "It's just three points, but there's something there and we have to create that wave of positivity."

    Stenhousemuir create a new club record after an 11th consecutive victory that stretches their lead at the top of League 2 to 14 points after Peterhead's defeat in Stranraer.

    After their 2-0 win away to third-top Spartans, that is the best run in Scotland's fourth tier since Rangers' run in season 2012-13.
