One thing about Bruno Fernandes - the criticism he gets of his defensive stuff but in the attacking third he is top class.

It’s a stunning finish. It starts with Luke Shaw and when it comes to Fernandes on the edge of the box that is a beautiful strike. He gets over it and keeps it down.

That was Manchester United's first FA Cup goal in Wales since January 1957 when they won 5-0 at Wrexham.

Newport's fans were taunting Bruno Fernandes at the start of the game.
Suffice to say those chants have suddenly subsided.

Every Newport flick-on, clearance and tackle is being cheered like a goal.
The Rodney Parade faithful are seriously pumped for this one.

Newport want to avoid allowing Antony to cut in like that on his left foot. We know that’s his strength. They just gave him too much space.

Bryn Morris floats a free-kick into the box for Newport but United get it away.

Great work by Newport County’s PA announcer. The crowd inside Rodney Parade do not need revving up much further but he has just done with a very passionate rallying cry. “The Amber Army” loved that.

Liverpool midfielder Curtis Jones, speaking to ITV: "It was a perfect game. There were loads of goals scored and we didn't have any injuries."
On message after Jurgen Klopp announcement: "Just carry on. We have our goals that we've set and nothing has changed. It's sad for the whole club but he is a man and we respect that."
On own form: "I've been around the first team now for a long time and this is the point now that I'm playing all the games and I'm consistent as well. I'm happy."
On using Klopp departure as motivation: "Definitely. We had our goals at the start of the season and now the news is out, we'll be giving it more."

An early touch for goalkeeper Altay Bayindir, who has had to wait a long time for his Manchester United debut.
With Andre Onana's Cameroon already out of the Africa Cup of Nations, this could prove to be his only game.

We are under way in this proper FA Cup tie.

This is about as classic a cup tie as you could wish for on paper: three divisions between the teams, raucous home crowd at a cramped old stadium and a smattering of homemade tinfoil replica FA Cup trophies among the fans.
If it's this noisy before kick-off, you wonder just how infernal the atmosphere could become if Newport score.

Newport striker Will Evans will be happy that Raphael Varane is starting for Manchester United today - as the former Real Madrid centre-back is one of the players he's earmarked for a shirt-swap at the end of the game.
Evans, 26, is a United fan and has quite the backstory, having worked on his family's farm and spent most of his career as a semi-professional in Wales' top flight, the Cymru Premier, before signing for League Two Newport in 2022.
You can read more about his rise from milking parlour to potential FA Cup giant-killer in this profile piece.

There is a real FA Cup tie feel about this day in Wales as Newport County take on Manchester United in the FA Cup fourth round.
Might events at Portman Road, where non-league Maidstone United stunned Ipswich Town, have Newport dreaming of another giant killing here today?
The temporary stands are up, the fans were milling around hours before kick-off, and United’s players have just been given a taste of the atmosphere to come after the keepers came out to start their warm up.
What a chance for club 16th in League Two to hit the headlines.
