    Fulham 0-1 Newcastle

Fulham playing well, looking a real threat but just lacking that final decisive touch or pass. They work it nicely to send Harrison Reed into the area but he's well closed down.

Isak has done unbelievably well there and got great power behind that shot but it's straight at Rodak. Very direct.

    Fulham 0-1 Newcastle

It's been all Fulham since the resumption, with 67% of possession and 11 entries into the final third already.

here is the Newcastle threat though, Alexander Isak shooting from long range as the visitors break clear but it's an easy save.

Given the luck Newcastle have enjoyed in the cup so far, against Sunderland and tonight I'd say give them the cup now, but they'd still blow it!

If only we could all cross a ball like David Beckham could. Kenny Tete does get too much on another cross though, firing it over the back of the green before his next one hits Dan Burn on the arm.

A huge handball shout is waved away. That was lacking conviction.

  6. 'Take the pace off crosses'published at 20:15 Greenwich Mean Time 27 January

    Fulham 0-1 Newcastle

    Don Hutchison
Ex-Scotland midfielder on BBC Radio 5 Live

You think of David Beckham and how he used to fizz crosses in from the right, sometimes Tete needs to take the pace off and mix it up, go to the front post and the far post.

Fulham’s crossing over the piece has not been good. It's disappointing because you know what they can do but it just hasn’t happened enough.

Sasa Lukic is back on the pitch and the sprightly Kenny Tete wins a corner now which Dan Burn clears diligently. Fulham keeping Newcastle on their toes.

I'm looking at Marco Silva's reaction on the side of the pitch and he is absolutely fuming about the quality of the final ball. You can have all of the patterns of play, but you have to make them count.

Ah, unlucky! Kenny Tete spins clear down the Fulham right, the second time he's done well to get clear but his cutback is well read by Fabian Schar and cleared away.

Sasa Lukic has some running repairs and is helped to the side of the field. Let's see if he can carry on with that.

If I were a Newcastle supporter, I'd be wondering if a good run in the FA Cup might just be the trigger to refind last season's confidence.

Or, it turns out, a big cut on his knee.

  14. ouch!

As Don hints at, Fulham have another man down. Sasa Lukic is hurt, looks like a thigh or hamstring problem.

Unless Lukic is injured, Marco Silva will be looking at Raul Jimenez, Tom Cairney and Joao Palhinha on his bench and how soon to bring them on.

I don't object to that goal being given, but you just know the same thing will happen in the Premier League in the next few weeks and the goal will be ruled out.

    Darryl, Thurrock

It's a clear hand ball that leads to a goal so why is it not disallowed? VAR officials seem to change the rules and parameters week by week it's a joke,

    Neil, Reading

If the ball hits a Fulham player's arm like it hit Bruno's arm it would be a penalty, why isn't it handball when it hits a Newcastle player's arm?

The message from Marco Silva will have been to start the second half fast like they did the first. When you play against the top sides, you have to be sharp.

Patient Fulham ball to start the second half, Bobby de Cordova-Reid does well to win a corner but it comes to nothing. Newcastle won't mind this, they have the weapons to really hurt Fulham on the break if they can turn it over.

Willian whistles in a beauty of a strike but the play had already stopped for offside.
