    Chelsea 0-0 Everton

A decent game so far! Chelsea of course look dangerous but Everton are picking their moments well and force another corner. Nathalie Bjorn, who swapped Everton for Chelsea recently, clears though with a steaming header.

Decent start from Everton as they win a corner but nothing comes of it and Chelsea keeper Hannah Hampton launches it downfield.

Guro Reiten finds Mayra Ramirez - but she's tackled brilliantly! Half a chance for the big signing.

Good pressing from the off by Everton as Rikke Madsen wins the ball high up the pitch but Heather Payne can't get a shot away for the side in silver.

At the other end Chelsea's world record buy Mayra Ramírez immediately gets in behind and goes down but there's no foul there.

The consensus is Chelsea will steamroll it from here on in. And those stats don't throw up much hope for an upset tonight.

But we shall see! Here come the players.

    Claire Rafferty
Ex-Chelsea and West Ham defender on BBC Radio 5 Sports Extra

It's going to be a difficult evening for Everton.

They have been playing with five at the back with a midfielder dropping in to make it compact in their own defensive third, but they are often guilty of over-playing when they get the ball and making their own problems.

If they continue with that approach today it will be tough. You don't want to be doing that against Chelsea.

    Chelsea v Everton (18:45 GMT)

    Claire Rafferty
Ex-Chelsea and West Ham defender on BBC Radio 5 Sports Extra

I think when we look at the home form of Chelsea, the way that they perform given the injury of Sam Kerr, Emma Hayes' announcement that she is leaving at the end of the season - I think it is going to be very difficult for any side to take the WSL title away from them.

I'm running out of superlatives to talk about Lauren James. She really took the game to Brighton. Her two finishes were just ridiculous.

Her movement in the box is something that I think we're really seeing this season - not a lot of players are able to find that space and to hold that space and be able to arrive in the box the way she does.

Chelsea’s Lauren James has scored eight goals in her last three Women’s Super League appearances at home, scoring two hat-tricks in this run (vs Liverpool and Manchester United). She’s the only player in WSL history to have scored 2+ goals in three consecutive home appearances.

"Our focus needs to be on our performances in our next games and then we'll see what that means for the league table."

  14. Chelsea 'a tough machine'published at 18:20 Greenwich Mean Time 4 February

    Manchester City

Manchester City manager Gareth Taylor on BBC Radio Manchester: "We've not shied away from what we want to achieve and we know we're going up against a really tough machine in Chelsea and we've seen what they've done over the last 6-7 years.

"We want to be there, we have been there in the main really, sometimes it can feel like you're a long way off, sometimes it can feel like you're really chose and things can change really quick."
