Which Wolves has Tom been watching? As a Wolves fan I have watched every single game (we get every EPL game in the US) and there is not enough room here to list the improvements I have seen. Our biggest problem is execution, not something the manager is responsible for. I am totally onboard with Gary O’Neil.

It is difficult to know how to feel after hearing the news that Everton have had four points returned on appeal.

The initial 10-point deduction was draconian, with fans, players and the manager all punished for something out of their control. Ask many Evertonians and they would have told you they expected nothing back, so there may well be some welcome surprise among the fan base.

Personally, there is a sense of relief that a line can be drawn under the first charge, but utter dismay that six points is still deemed a fair and proportionate punishment.

In my view, how the club have been used and continue to be so should never sit right with any fair-minded football fan.

I have got a real hope that the clarity and closure provides the players and manager with a mental lift going into the upcoming fixtures. They have all operated admirably in the most trying of circumstances. This should not be forgotten when we return to Goodison Park this weekend.

We cannot forget however, that the battle continues. The second charge is next on the to-do list.

Erik ten Hag: Man Utd manager requests apology from Fulham for TikTok video

Fulham won at Manchester United last week yet build-up to their game with Brighton has been dominated by TikTok.

A video of Bruno Fernandes going down injured during last Saturday's 2-1 win at Old Trafford, accompanied by the caption: "So glad he's ok...", was posted on Fulham's TikTok account.

United boss Erik ten Hag felt the footage implied his captain had feigned injury and described it as "totally out of order".

Fulham Marco Silva said he fully understood Ten Hag's reaction.

"I'm aware of everything, I haven't seen it. It was a reaction from Ten Hag and when a manager defends his player it's a normal situation," added Silva.

"If it's one of our players then I am going to defend them until the last. "Bruno is the captain of Manchester United. He's a top player and a top quality professional, and you're not a United captain unless you have the full package as a player.

"Ten Hag defended his player and I can understand that."

Jurgen Klopp says Liverpool are not thinking about possibly winning four trophies

Jurgen Klopp when asked if Liverpool can add the Premier League, FA Cup and Europa League to the EFL Cup they won last week: "We don't think for a second about four trophies. We just try to find a solution for the next game. We can't do it differently.

"We are only one point above Manchester City and two above Arsenal - but that means nothing. Sixty points is a statement for this moment of the season, but stay on 60 and I'm not sure we would qualify for the Champions League - so we'd better keep winning matches."

I think it is slightly harsh [the way Chelsea were criticised after the Carabao Cup final]. I think there is a historical expectation of Chelsea and what they used to be.

Even when you spend that much money, success is not guaranteed. And especially with the age of those players they have spent money on, it's going to take time to gel, get better together an grow as a group.

If they can keep that group together and keep Mauricio Pochettino - there are moments you see them pass the ball around together and you think 'wow'.
