  1. Is Fornals on his way out of West Ham?published at 08:08 Greenwich Mean Time 1 February

    Simon Stone
    BBC Sport

West Ham are being linked with a lot of potential deals but I am told it is expected to be quiet at London Stadium.

Said Benrahma should complete a loan to Lyon and there is interest in Pablo Fornals but whether anything materialises is another matter.

Maxwel Cornet was linked with Nottingham Forest earlier in the week and now Crystal Palace have been mentioned.

It will be interesting to see if someone comes up with an acceptable offer. Cornet was excellent at Burnley but it just hasn't happened for him with the Hammers.

If Fulham pay anywhere near £50m for Armando Broja, I'll eat my hat. What exactly are Chelsea basing that valuation on?! A loan might make sense, but the ridiculous wages are sure to be a problem.

Could Dominic Solanke be on the move today?

The Bournemouth striker has been linked with a £50m move to Tottenham.

"I know nothing about this," Bournemouth boss Andoni Iraola said.

"As I told you in the summer, I don't expect anything to happen, with Dom especially."

  5. Chelsea's Santos set for Strasbourg?published at 07:54 Greenwich Mean Time 1 February

Chelsea midfielder Andrey Santos is set to go on loan to French Ligue 1 club Strasbourg.

Santos signed for Chelsea in January 2023 from Vasco de Gama and returned there on loan during the same season.

The 19-year-old was also sent on loan to Premier League side Nottingham Forest at the beginning of this campaign, but he only made two appearances before being recalled by Chelsea earlier this month.

The club always planned to loan Santos out again this season to continue his development.

Strasbourg are also owned by Todd Boehly and Behdad Egbahli, and the Chelsea co-owners bought a majority stake in the club in June 2023.

Blues winger Angelo, a summer signing from Santos, is also on loan at the Ligue 1 club, who are managed by Patrick Vieira.

  7. Will Burnley sign Esteve?published at 07:48 Greenwich Mean Time 1 February

Burnley boss Vincent Kompany is hoping to add to his squad before the deadline, whilst Manuel Benson could be heading out of Turf Moor.

Montepellier central defender Maxime Esteve, 21, is thought to be top of Burnley’s list of targets.

Speaking after Wednesday's 3-1 defeat at Manchester City, Kompany said he expected to do some business.

“I hope something will happen,” he said. “You can make miracle transfers in January but they’re very difficult to find.”

Benson was left out of the Burnley squad for the trip to City and although Southampton and Hull have been linked with the 26-year-old winger, who has started only two games this season, nothing has so far materialised.

“There were little bits of rumours of him going away on loan,” said Kompany. “Of course it is normal that he wants to play and we will see how it resolves itself.”

Unlikely, I know, but really hoping that Man Utd sell or loan Marcus Rashford. He's been a toxic presence in the team for too long now.

Nottingham Forest look set to be one of the busier Premier League clubs on transfer deadline day.

Following the arrival of Gio Reyna on loan from Borussia Dortmund yesterday, Forest are also expecting to complete a move for Sporting Lisbon’s highly-rated young forward Rodrigo Ribeiro.

It is likely to be a loan deal initially, with an option to buy that could become an obligation if Ribeiro reaches set targets.

In addition, the likely departure of Orel Mangala to French club Lyon could pave the way for Sam Johnstone to complete a switch to Forest.

Forest have already had one attempt to sign Johnstone rebuffed this week but after current number one Matt Turner was blamed for Arsenal’s opener on Tuesday, manager Nuno Espirito Santo has made it clear he feels the club need another goalkeeping option.
