    Newcastle 1-3 West Ham

Not many West Ham fans calling for David Moyes' head right now.

The Hammers are level on points with sixth-placed Manchester United as it stands.

Another couple of goals and they'll move above the Red Devils.

Genuine Question: Is this the most enjoyable Premier League season of all time. As a neutral it is fascinating to watch.

Jarrod Bowen now has 15 Premier League goals this season - same as Liverpool's Mo Salah.

It is amazing how West Ham have scored from a Newcastle corner. What is even more amazing is that Jarrod Bowen is in acres and acres of space in the middle.

Mohammed Kudus finds him from the left hand side and he drives forward and slots home from about 18 yards out. Schoolboy defending from Newcastle.

Get him on that plane to the Euros!

St James' Park is stunned as West Ham extend their lead after a Newcastle corner is cleared.

Mohammed Kudus is involved before Jarrod Bowen finds himself clean through with just Martin Dúbravka to beat - which he does with some quality.

    Super stuff by the Hammers.

No way this is going to stay 1-2 if the first half is anything to go by.

Newcastle make a positive start to the second half and Emerson is forced to head a cross behind for a corner.

Am I just imagining the head injury protocol being a thing? Since when did we just play on when a player was down from a knock to the face?

    Ben, Manchester

Schar has a head injury and the ref decides ‘no problem, let’s get on with it’. Make it make sense. Awful officiating.

    Chris Sutton
Former Blackburn striker on BBC Radio 5 Live

The half-time score could have been anything.

I didn't think there was anything wrong with the second West Ham goal. It was daft from Fabian Schar to stay down as long as he did, it wasn't a head injury. Quickly taken free kick and West Ham have the lead.

Newcastle only have themselves to blame, they had the chances but didn't take them, and West Ham did take theirs.

West Ham's substitute keeper Lukasz Fabianski is being put through his paces on the pitch during the half-time interval. Is he going to come on at the start of the second half? Alphonse Areola was struggling towards the end of the first half.

When are professional footballers going to learn that lying down pretending to be mortally wounded doesn't always work. Well done ref.

    Davva

There is no need to stop the game when a player is feigning injury! Of course the goal should stand! A three year old wouldn't go to ground from that brush on the face! Good decision ref,

    Andy Reid
Ex-Republic of Ireland midfielder on BBC Radio 5 Live

The Newcastle defenders should have reacted quicker, stand in front of the ball, stop it happening.

You're told that from Under 9's football, if someone looks like they might take a quick free kick, go and stand over the ball. It is worth a booking to stop a goal.

Poor play from Newcastle, but very clever play from West Ham.

After the international break, the Premier League is back with a bang alright.

An early penalty for Newcastle who then lose their captain to injury. And then West Ham turn it around despite Bruno Guimaraes hitting the bar.

It's been breathless. And there's still another 45 minutes to come.

  14. HALF-TIMEpublished at 13:29 Greenwich Mean Time 30 March

It was a foul on Mohammed Kudus, Fabian Schar took him out when he received the ball from the throw in.

A quickly taken free kick, Jarrod Bowen tried to cut inside on his left foot, the ball falls to Kudus who fires the ball into the top corner.

    James McFadden

It's been a fairly open game so far, with some decent bits of defending in both boxes.

Newcastle have had more control in the game but West Ham look dangerous, Michail Antonio looking particularly dangerous and the home side are struggling to get to grips with him at the minute.
